The Second International Culture Festival in UIBE

On September 15, 2012, the second International Culture Festival in UIBE was selected “the youth of the world together hand in the future” as their grand opening theme. In this festival, the international students ware eally active to participate with the invitation to embassy, international exhibition, cultural performance, and others.
The invitation to Embassy
In order to enable embassies more participation in this International Culture Festival, the International Student Union will summarize their working experience last year. In the early of July, they already prepare to transmit the invitation to the various country of the National Embassy.
International Exhibition
The international exhibition for students, teachers, media, embassy is the most popular highlight in this event. Last year, there were only 37 international students participated in our festival, but in order to honor the 60th celebration of our school birthday so the International Student Department in May began to encourage the students and teach to join this event, the results is 54 countries is agreed to take the participation, the main is Europe countries, which is Italy, France, England, and American countries.
The preparation started after the enrollment of the student, such as: Burmese students the opportunity to take advantage of summer home, spent nearly 10,000 yuan elaborate procurement of the local most speciality decoration needs; the Korean students contact the Embassy Cultural Office to borrow some outfits, drums, and so on, even they were also making the decoration items with their own hand. Indonesia and Kazakhstan students every week diligently practice their culture dance performance. International Student Department in the corporation with other students and teachers cooking cuisines of all countries in the kitchen.
September 15 finally arrived, and every student from the various country dressed with the most beautiful smile, and their exhibition dressed with also the most beautiful decoration. At that day, they all were so warming welcome our guest and media whose come to visit. The Iranian Students come up with their own collection of beautifully true Sitan; The Saudi Arabia student borrowed most original ecological Arab tent. Pakistan students when greeted the guests ,they were drawing beautiful patterns in the guest’s hand. Greece and Russia students preparing delicious hand-baked breads to their guests. The UK student put on their smart suit, and the guest mistaken them as 007,and the guests is excited to take photos with them. At that moment, the feeling of colored faces in here together, and a variety of language sounded here, the natural integration of the national culture here is really tangible for the whole people in the festival.
