Beijing Fuxue Hutong Elementary School

Beijing Fuxue Hutong Elementary School was built in the year 1368, has lasted over the Ming dynasty, the Qing dynasty, and the Republic era, accumulating a history of over 640 years. Many of the traditional buildings survived over the years on the account that the school has religiously followed the Confucius and Mencius school of philosophy, which protected the structures from harm during times of turmoil.
