Our Grade 5 Moving Up Ceremony marked a proud milestone in the ISB journey, celebrating the friendships, confidence, curiosity, and growth our students have built throughout Elementary School.

As they prepare to take their next steps into Middle School, we celebrate not only how far they have come, but the energy, courage, and Dragon Spirit they will carry with them into this exciting new chapter.

This week, we welcomed our 2026 Summer JADE cohort from around the world with an opening ceremony at the Temple of Confucius, one of Beijing’s most historic sites of learning, reflection, and scholarship.

Over the coming weeks, our JADE Ambassadors will explore Beijing, build friendships across cultures, and experience learning that goes far beyond the classroom.

The journey has officially begun, and we can’t wait to see where it leads.

The Grade 8 Culmination marks an important milestone in the ISB journey, celebrating the growth, friendships, challenges, and memories that have shaped their Middle School years.

As they look ahead to High School, we celebrate not only how far they’ve come, but the confidence, curiosity, and Dragon Spirit they carry with them into what comes next.

Young musicians. Growing confidence.

Yesterday’s Elementary ASA Ensemble Concert gave our young musicians the chance to share what they’ve been working toward, and they filled the stage with confidence, focus, and plenty of heart.

From first notes to final bows, it was a wonderful reminder of how music brings students together, builds confidence, and gives every performer a moment to shine.

Our MS/HS Design Showcase brings together student work that moves from idea to prototype, from problem to possibility, and from creative thinking to real-world solutions.

From product design and engineering to digital media, systems thinking, and hands-on making, this showcase highlights the curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills at the heart of design learning at ISB.

Graduation is a celebration of achievement, but it is also a celebration of everything it took to get here: the late nights, the big questions, the quiet persistence, the teachers who believed in them, the families who supported them, and the community that cheered them on.

Congratulations to our class of 2026. We are proud of what you have achieved, proud of who you have become, and excited for where you go from here.

It takes a village, and at ISB we are incredibly fortunate to have one.

Our community spirit is something special, and so much of that comes from the generosity, energy, and commitment of our parent volunteers. From events and celebrations to the everyday moments of support that often happen behind the scenes, our PTA helps bring Dragon Spirit to life every single day.

As a small token of appreciation, we came together as a school to celebrate and recognize the parents and caregivers who give their time, care, and talent to support our students and strengthen our community.

Thank you to our PTA and all of our parent volunteers. ISB is better because of you.
