📖 CAN WORDS HEAL? SCIENCE SAYS THEY CAN HELP. 🖋️

Reading and writing are often seen as simple hobbies or distractions. But psychology has studied their potential role in emotional and mental wellbeing.

🖋️ James W. Pennebaker, a pioneer in expressive-writing research, found that writing about difficult experiences can help people process emotions and may contribute to psychological and physical wellbeing.

🔬 A meta-analysis by Lin Guo et al. (2023), covering 31 studies and 4,012 participants, found evidence that expressive writing can have beneficial effects on depression, anxiety and stress.

📚 Gualano et al. (2017) also found evidence that bibliotherapy—the therapeutic use of reading—can help reduce depressive symptoms in adults.

Of course, reading and writing are not substitutes for medical or psychological treatment, and they don't work the same way for everyone.

But they can be powerful tools for reflection, emotional expression and wellbeing.

Thinking without strategizing is time wastage
Strategizing without implementing is energy wastage
Implementing and not learning from your mistakes is stagnation
Learning from your mistakes and not ameliorating the methods is experience wastage

Don't waste your experience. Learn from them, ameliorate your methods and don't stop thinking new.

Le Seigneur est un amoureux de l'aventure, c'est un aventurier.

La différence entre lui et nous est qu'il nous fait repasser sur les chemins qu'il a déjà traversés et vaincus.

Combien parmi nous avons déjà eu à faire des plans aussi directs, étroits, sans obstacles, droits au but ? Tout le monde, je dirais.

Mais quand Dieu voit ça, ça ne lui plaît pas. Il prend plaisir au parcours, il se réjouit de voir les obstacles être surmontés et les montagnes être aplanies.

Vous voyez tous ces films qui ont tendance à causer des montagnes russes avec nos émotions, mais qui, à la fin, nous donnent cette joie par la manière dont ça se termine ? C'est exactement comme ça que les plans de Dieu sont.

Il ne veut pas seulement que tu atteignes ces objectifs, mais que, dans le processus d'atteindre tes buts, tu puisses découvrir mille dimensions de lui face aux obstacles et que tu puisses être transformé par ce que tu traverses.

Ces parcours sont intentionnels, pensés, réfléchis et utiles.

Alors ne prends pas de raccourcis. Ne te lamente pas de ton parcours. Développe ton enthousiasme pour ton parcours en sachant que la fin sera glorieuse.

The Greatest Hurt You Can Do to Yourself🔥💔💔

The greatest hurt you can do to yourself is to reject who you are called to become because you desire a version of yourself that is not truly you—a version you may never become.

It is not because who you are is not relevant or celebrated where you are right now.

It is not because you feel different that you are in the wrong place.

It is not because you are not understood or accepted that you are not who God created you to be.

Trying to become like others simply to gain acceptance is dangerous. When you seek approval from the wrong places, belong to the wrong groups, or embrace an identity that is not yours, you begin to move away from your authentic self.

It is okay to feel silent, unnoticed, or even irrelevant in the wrong environment. But at the right place, you can never remain invisible.

Among the right people and in the right environment, your presence will speak even when you do not. You will be valued without striving for attention, relevant without forcing recognition, and accepted without having to prove yourself.

Sometimes, God places us in unfamiliar lands and uncomfortable situations to shape us into who we are called to become. Those seasons may make us feel different, isolated, or out of place. Yet, we must never lose sight of the vision of our future, nor abandon the path of authenticity that God has set before us.

When God finally repositions you where you are meant to be, no one will need to tell you that you have arrived. Your fruit, your light, and your impact will testify to it.

Be patient. Stay authentic. Trust God's process. Your place will find you as surely as you find it. ✨🙏🏾

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy month of June ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Vision without passion? Vision without love?

Your vision is not separate from you—it is an integral part of who you are.

If you are not living and loving the vision God has given you, perhaps you have not yet fully embraced or understood who you are.

More often than not, the vision God gives us is a visible expression of our identity, values, character, gifts, and deepest convictions.

- A pastor reflects a passion for souls.
- A designer reflects creativity.
- A lawyer reflects a pursuit of justice.
- A teacher reflects a love for growth and learning.

The vision God gives is not merely another assignment we must adapt to. Rather, it is a platform through which we express who we truly are.

If you struggle to love the vision God has placed before you, take time to examine yourself. Discover yourself. Revisit your identity in Christ. Learn to accept and appreciate the person God created you to be.

Then return to that vision and see it again.

You may discover that the vision was never separate from you—it was simply a written expression of who you have been all along.

It is time to burn with the passion of the Lord for your vision. No one will consider it more then you do.

LAST HOUR INVITATIONS: TO HONOUR OR NOT ?🤔🤔🖊️🖊️

When we receive an invitation at the last minute, we often begin to question whether the person truly respects us.

And honestly, that's understandable. You have every right to accept or refuse. After all, you were not prepared for it.

It's interesting how strict we can be when it comes to protecting our self-esteem, honor, and ego, yet God repeatedly presents us with "last-hour invitations."

Think about it.

Jesus gave us parables that involve late invitations: the banquet for the king's son and the workers hired at the eleventh hour.

In the parable of the wedding banquet, the original guests refused to come. Then, people who had not been invited beforehand were suddenly called to attend.

Imagine being invited on the very day of the event! 😂

You would have plenty of reasons to decline:

• "I'm not prepared."
• "Why are you inviting me only now?"
• "I already have other plans."
• And many more...

To make it even more interesting, they couldn't come just anyhow—they had to wear wedding clothes! 😂

So you're inviting me at the last minute and you're also giving me a dress code? Na wa o!

But what if...

What if that late opportunity contains the answer to your prayers?

What if that last-minute invitation is the connection to your future spouse, destiny helper, or next season?

What if that invitation is God's way of using you to save a situation, support someone in need, or make a difference where it matters most?

So what am I saying?

Yes, exercise wisdom. Yes, you are free to accept or decline late invitations.

But in all things, let us remain sensitive to the Spirit of God. Sometimes, honoring others and obeying God's leading may require us to put our ego aside.

Not every late invitation is a lack of respect.

Some are divine appointments.

✨ TalkingScrolls – 3rd Edition Highlights ✨

For the 3rd edition of TalkingScrolls, we had the honor of hosting two brilliant damsels: Ancela and Blanche, who truly edified us on the powerful theme “REBIRTH.”

💭 What do you say rebirth is?

Through the light shed by the two books reviewed by our guests, we gained a deeper understanding of DEATH, LIFE, and the BREACH between them.

📖 Book Reviews:
🔹 M. Ancela gave an inspiring review of “The Power of Being a Woman” by Michelle Hammond.
🔹 CHE Blanche shared deep insights on “La Mort Parle” by Inoride Mika.

It was a moment of transformation, wisdom, and awakening.
