Theme: PROPOSAL
Topic: RIGHT WAYS TO PROPOSE.
1) SEEK THE FACE OF GOD BEFORE MAKING ANY MOVE.
Walk by faith not by sight. The physical beauty you see today can change tomorrow. Make sure you lead by the spirit of God.
2)PROPOSE TO SOME ONE YOU ARE FRIENDLY WITH.
Don't just rush ahead to propose because your friends are proposing or because you think another man will propose. Relate with this lady and she will be waiting for your proposal.
3) DO THE PROPOSAL AS YOU ARE LEAD AND BE SINCERE.
Don't try to be poetic because she might know the poem already. Be sincere.
4)PROPOSE IN A VERY SIMPLE LANGUAGE.
The lady should not be confused or need to go home and check her dictionary to understand the message you are actually trying to pass across her.
5) JUST BE YOU.
Just be yourself. Take a deep breath and express yourself, find your special way to say to say and show her she is the best thing that ever happened to you.
6) PICK A SPECIAL DAY.
You can chose a day like valentine's day, birthday or a special day you like . Remember this marriage proposal signifies a solid Committment of love and trust between two people. Two people who will love each other passionately and truely.
7) BE CERTAIN YOU LOVE HER AND SHE IS THE WOMAN FOR YOU.
Take your time here to write down what you love about her and why you want to marry her Be careful you could be making the best decision in your life or the worst mistake of your life.
8) CREATE A ROMANTIC SITUATION.
Romance refer to actions and feelings of two people who are in love especially behaviour which is caring or affectionate. There is nothing spiritual about toasting. Make it romantic.
9) YOUR CHOICE OF WORDS IS CRITICAL WHEN PROPOSING.

Topic : Endurance
Sub topic:Areas to endure in.

ENDURING TEMPTATION ( James 1:12-13)
- God aproves you when you endure temptation and gives you a crown.
Temptation is an attraction that leads you out of the track that God has seted for you.
- Temptation is a test for weakness.
SOME FORM OF TEMPTATION.
(1) Women or Men.( s*xual temptation)
See David ( I Samuel 11:1-4)
*s*xual temptation begins when you are idle. Be busy. Where you position yourself matters too.
* Another thing is "see" , Avoid seeing certain parts of the body and watching pronographphy.
* This is followed by inquiry. You try to know who the opposite s*x is. .
* You then commit the act.
*You try to cover the act.
NB. Yielding to s*xual temptation destroys so many lives.
(2) Money
Be faithful with money.
(3) Alcohol.
Don't start because it will be difficult to end.

Series: Ingredients to the throne.
Topic: ENDURANCE or THE WAITING PERIOD.

Between the promise of God and the fulfilment of the promise is the waiting period ( Endurance)
--Endurance is the capacity to withstand pressure. It is also the ability to put on circumstance without giving off.
--Everybody needs endurance.
Sub topic: FIVE AREAS TO ENDURE IN.
(1) Endure hardship( 2 Timothy 2:3-4)
This involve discipline training and a focus on your mind. You will go through pain of lack, sickness, etc for long but you will not give off.
(2) Endure hostility ( Hebrews 12:3-2)
It means you will have cases of unfriendliness and opposition.Jesus recieved hostility also in the following ways.
(a) Mockery.
For example you will be asked " How Far will you go"?
(b) Rejection;
No matter who you are, they are people who will reject you. They will talk about you. You suffer rejection from everywhere because of one thing or the other. You feel pain when you are rejected, yet you have to endure.
(3) intimidation.
(4) Black mail.
When you are being back mail , it shows you are doing something.
(5) Contradiction.
It is when the reality of your life does not conform with your expectation. You have to confess positively by faith.
Note that : NEVER TRY TO PLEASE THOSE WHO HAVE REJECTED YOU BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER PLEASE THEM.
(3) Endure temptation

(5) Endure till the end

Challenges or problems are never for ever, they have an expired date.

One of the important areas in your life to persevere in, is to persevere in HOLINESS ( Hebrews 12:14).
There is an increase in sin and ungodly things in the time we our living. It is not because many people are doing unholy things things that you turn to join them and become unholy in your dealing. Persevere in holiness inorder to reach your throne.

(1) Persevere in holiness ( Hebrews 12:15)
(2) Persevere in prayer( 1 Thessalonian 5:17)
(3) persevere in God's word.( Colossians 3:16)
(4) Persevere in Faith( 1 Timothy 6:12)
(5) Persevere in thanks giving(1 Thessalonian 5:17)
(6) Persevere in doing good ( Galatians 6:9)
There other areas to persevere in, but no one has persevered in these six universal areas and it failed him.

One of the lessons seen in hebrews 12:1-2 under the ingredient of perseverance is : TO BE FOCUS.
The object of focus is Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Focus not on money, person, sponsor, friend, parents, mentor, pastor, husband, wife, Job, government, salary etc. These will fail but Jesus will never fail. Looking up to Jesus will never lead to failure or disappointment. Human beings have weakness but Jesus does not. You stop persevering when you look up to somebody else or something else rather than Jesus. To continue to persever, look up to Jesus.
