Bakary, a future Psychologist who needs YOU!🚨
🇬🇲 Bakary grew up in a Gambian village where going to school was considered a luxury. Most kids never finished. *University felt impossible.*
_"I watched some of my brothers complete high school while others couldn't because of money. I dreamed of changing my family's situation, but after high school, I had no way to pay for university."_
🎖️ Today, Bakary is a 1st year Psychology student. His goal: become a psychologist who empowers young people to overcome challenges.
_"I want to be useful to my community. I want to guide youth to achieve their full potential."_
Right now, they're all counting on donations to continue this semester.

Over 100 students graduated this year because of donations like yours. That's sadaqah jariyah in action.
The Prophet ﷺ said knowledge that benefits is among the deeds whose reward continues after death.
When you fund a student's education, here's what happens: They graduate. They get jobs serving their communities as teachers, nurses, engineers. They support their families. They mentor the next generation. That impact continues for 30-40 years of their career.
Right now, thousands of students all over Africa are counting on support to continue their studies this semester.

✨ me Turn a Students Dream Into a Degree this Ramadan ✨
I am supporting and raising funds for students who are just ONE semester away from graduating — after years of sacrifice, struggle and perseverance.
These students have studied through poverty, hardship, and immense pressure, all in pursuit of earning their university degrees through the International Open University’s 1 Million African Scholarships (1MAS) initiative.
, their future depends on one final step.
💛 It is $200 for their semester but you can donate any amount to help them complete their final semester and graduate.
💸 This is Zakah-eligible and a powerful form of Sadaqah Jariyah.
The ﷺ said: _"When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them."_
⚠️ consider sponsoring a student or contributing any amount you can — and help them cross the finish line.

IOU 1MAS Centre, Yaounde
now, 138 students are one semester away from graduating and I'm fundraising for 2 of them.
They've studied for seven years through IOU's 1 Million African Scholarships initiative. They've worked jobs. Supported families. Refused to quit when everything said they should.
They're standing at the edge.
Each one needs US$200 to cross the finish line.
When they graduate, they don't just get degrees. They become the teachers who shape the next generation. The leaders who rebuild communities. The parents who change what's possible for their children.
This is how cycles break.
The Prophet ﷺ said: _"When a man dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous son who prays for him." (Sunan an-Nasa'i)_
Every degree you fund becomes knowledge that multiplies. Sadaqah jariyah that never stops giving.
138 students. One semester. US$200 each.
Pick one. Graduate them today.

Here’s a reminder from our Founder and Chancellor, Dr. Bilal Philips: “Don’t chase love in haram (forbidden) ways and expect barakah (blessing) in return.” You can’t microwave a relationship and expect a five-star marriage. If it starts with secret DMs and late-night guilt, it probably won’t end in nikah (marriage). Love with barakah (blessing) begins with boundaries. Halal is harder, but worth it.
