Bakary, a future Psychologist who needs YOU!🚨

🇬🇲 Bakary grew up in a Gambian village where going to school was considered a luxury. Most kids never finished. *University felt impossible.*

_"I watched some of my brothers complete high school while others couldn't because of money. I dreamed of changing my family's situation, but after high school, I had no way to pay for university."_

🎖️ Today, Bakary is a 1st year Psychology student. His goal: become a psychologist who empowers young people to overcome challenges.

now, 138 students are one semester away from graduating and I'm fundraising for 2 of them.

They've studied for seven years through IOU's 1 Million African Scholarships initiative. They've worked jobs. Supported families. Refused to quit when everything said they should.

They're standing at the edge.

Here’s a reminder from our Founder and Chancellor, Dr. Bilal Philips: “Don’t chase love in haram (forbidden) ways and expect barakah (blessing) in return.” You can’t microwave a relationship and expect a five-star marriage. If it starts with secret DMs and late-night guilt, it probably won’t end in nikah (marriage). Love with barakah (blessing) begins with boundaries. Halal is harder, but worth it.
