At British College, we uphold the value of quality education, reflected in our rigorous examination standards aimed at ensuring that our learners meet societal standards. The exams began with all British College teachers implementing strict monitoring of students to prevent any instances of examination malpractice during the writing process. Yesterday, British college welcomed the Class 6 pupils of 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐟, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐲. The purpose was to familiarize them with our dynamic campus, showcase our facilities, and spark their curiosity about their upcoming transition to Form 1. The students were welcomed by the Principal of British college and the Administration, visited the library to learn about its functions, explored the science laboratory and enjoyed a briefing on meals in the canteen. They also received an overview of the computer laboratory and devices from the ICT manager. The visit left the Class 6 pupils excited about their future at the college, where they envision dreams taking flight, friendships flourishing, and knowledge thriving. The college looks forward to welcoming them back as proud Form 1 students soon.

On the eve of the start of the official GCE BOARD exams, British College wanted to reaffirm its commitment to candidates and their parents. It is with this in mind that a Parents-Teachers meeting took place on 04/25/2024 in our conference room with the administrative staff and parents of students of examination classes.
The main objective was to 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐬. This requires the total involvement of parents who serve as relays to the school when the students are at home.
Quality education requires the involvement of all parties, namely: Teachers - Students - Parents.

Dear students, teachers, and friends,
On this 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we come together as a united force to raise awareness and take action against this preventable and treatable disease. Malaria, though often underlooked, continues to affect millions of lives globally. In 2022, there were 608,000 malaria-related deaths worldwide and a staggering 249 million new cases emerged.

On this special day, we celebrate the World Book Day organized by UNESCO. We gather to celebrate the essence of knowledge, creativity, and discovery. Each book is an invitation to imagination, a key that unlocks the doors of learning and understanding. Today, as passionate individuals in the educational sector, we reiterate our responsibility in promoting reading and literacy in our educational institutions. Today marked the start of the third term and we were thrilled to welcome our students back from the Easter break. During the assembly, we took the opportunity to raise awareness among our students that this term is short and challenging, especially for our slow learners and students in examination classes. Excelling during this brief period is key. The main message of the assembly was:

This week, British College was invited to attend a managerial seminars held at 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥. We also had an internal training on Digitalisation techniques. Such meetings are usually scheduled during break periods to reinforce the capacity of our staff. The actual managerial themes covered were:

𝟏. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬.

We are happy to share the unforgettable moments of our recent cultural day held on our campus. It was a day filled with colours, rhythms, and traditions, where we celebrated the richness of our cultural diversity. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the fashion parade showcasing the different tribes of our country. Each tribe brilliantly presented their traditional attire, sharing expressions in their native languages, traditional dances and exploring a captivating exhibition highlighting local craftsmanship and art.

This day was much more than just a celebration. It was a moment of connection, pride, and sharing. Our students not only had the opportunity to discover and appreciate the different facets of our cultures but also to feel proud of their roots and identity. We express our deep gratitude to all the participants, whether they contributed by showcasing their cultures, organizing activities, or participating with enthusiasm. It is thanks to their participation and support that this day was such a success. Thank you all for this emotionally rich and memorable day. We look forward to more special moments in the future.

Yesterday, the atmosphere at British College was filled with excitement as we celebrated the kermesse in anticipation of the upcoming Youth Day festivities. The students exhibited their talents in various activities, including dance competitions, brainteasers, arm wrestling, Miss Master competition and many other activities. However, during the celebration, we also took the opportunity to enlighten them about the importance and challenges of being a youth in our society. Additionally, we were privileged to have a guest artist "𝗞𝗮𝗻-𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗹” whose presence made the day truly unforgettable for the students of British College. This event showcased that the students of British College are not only academically gifted but also excel in their chosen endeavours. Today, we celebrated the 19th edition of the National Bilingualism Day at our school. This year's theme was “𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦: "𝐕𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐧."Under this theme, we take pride in our diverse community and our commitment to language learning.
We firmly believe that having proficiency in multiple languages is a valuable asset that can unlock doors and create opportunities in life. This belief was reflected in the activities we organized throughout the day, as well as our teaching approach, which emphasizes bilingual education in both English and French throughout the week.

At our school, we have a long-standing tradition of selecting responsible, dedicated, and enthusiastic students to serve as campus leaders. These students serve as exemplary figures for their mates and contribute to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. Through a voting process conducted among their classmates following a brief campaign in various classes, these student leaders collaborate closely with the school staff to address the needs and concerns of their mates in alignment with the administrative guidelines for student engagement.

What an excitement to welcome our students back for the second term! We are all conscious that it is 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱 and full of 𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 but we look forward to continue working with them to achieve their educational goals before distraction. Ｈｅｌｌｏ Ｂｒｉｔｉｓｈ Ｃｏｍｍｕｎｉｔｙ！

Today, the 𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗙 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 organized a small managerial seminar at the Family Bilingual School at Etoa Meki, which brought together the different schools of the Foundation: 𝗚𝗦𝗕 𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗙, 𝗖𝗦𝗕 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗡𝗬, 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘.

Two themes were explored:
𝟭. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥-𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦.
𝟮. 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗠.

Important themes to improve the way we manage our schools and how they are perceived in the educational milieu.

As we all know, human work is never 100% perfect, but with some adjustments and recommendations, we can improve the management Principles of our institutions. That's why our Foundation find it important to organize this seminar every Christmas break to bring some important adjustments after appreciations received from our clients.

We can conclude by saying that it was a great experience of sharing and entertainment between our institutions with a reminder to manage our schools in an enterprise view that brings a slight difference in our educational milieu. Here we share some highlights of the meeting.
