CLEF Professional Training Centre, Nlongkak, Yaounde, is in need of professionally qualified bilingual (English/French) Instructors in the following fields:/ Le Centre de formation professionnelle CLEF, situé à Nlongkak, Yaoundé, recherche des formateurs bilingues (anglais/français) qualifiés dans les domaines suivants:
1. Secretarial Training DQP/ Formation en Secrétariat Bureautique DQP;
2. Computerized Accounting and Management/ Comptabilité Informatisée et Gestion;
3. Graphic Design and Production and Web Design/ Graphism et Production;
4. Computer Maintenance / Maintenance Informatique;
5. Excel and General Accounting/ Comptabilité Générale et Excel.

Besides our on-going Editing Course, Africa Book Development Foundation (ABDf) together with its training department, Africa Book Institute, Yaounde, in collaboration with CLEF Professional Training Center, Nlongkak-Yaoundé (Authorization No. 358/MINEFOP/SG/DFOP/SDGSF/SACD of 15 November 2018), announces the admission of students into the Translation and Interpretation Course for November 2025 : ✍️📖

Interested candidates should be holders of a first degree in Communication, Publishing or any liberal arts subject with competences in spoken and written English. The latest date for accepting Letters of Intent to pursue the course is 30 September 2025 and should comprise the following:

1. A written Letter of Intent to pursue the Course announced above addressed to the Course Administrator, CLEF Professional Training Center: Email: [email protected];

2. Photocopy of a First Degree in a subject mentioned above; and

3. Photocopy of a valid ID Card.

On examination of the above, a Letter of Acceptance into the course will be sent to those who fulfill the requirements, together with full information about the course, its contents, and fees structure. Courses are held in English only (but sufficiently bilingual French/English candidates are encouraged to apply).

‼️Candidates already working as translators and interpreters with at least three years experience and have the required entry qualifications but do not have any professional certification can also apply.

The Course covers Basic Editing, Intermediate Editing and Advanced Editing courses, which one needs to take to become a full-fledged editor. The fee for each Level of the course (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) is 250.000 CFA (US$500.00), given a total of 750.000 CFA (US$1,500,00) for the entire course (12 calendar months + Diploma). If you pay at once for the full course, it will be 650.000 CFA (US$1,300.00). Otherwise, you are welcome to pay for each level as you go on.
