Hello
Let's talk about the inclusive nature of education today. How do we treat the mentally and physically challenged children?
Let's talk about those suffering with the Down Syndrome commonly known as Trisomy 21.
This is a genetic disorder caused by abnormal division of cells resulting in extra genetic material from chromosome thus causing developmental and intellectual delays.
Is it the fault of such children?, Should they be isolated and treated apart in a special structure?
Educating ourselves on how to teach these special children will bring them out of their quite corner and exhibit their talents and skills. This will curb the "difficulties" we find in them.
