If you add text on top of an image and people struggle to read it, chances are they’ll scroll past it. I create a lot of posts for my own account and for client accounts where I use text on images, and here are some of the hacks I use to improve text readability.

Canva dropped a lot of updates recently and, most of the conversation is about Canva AI 2.0. Understandably so, but there were some quieter updates that quietly rolled out alongside the big launches that are just as worth your attention.

Have you seen the new “Create Component” feature in Canva yet?
It lets you add specific elements to your brand kit, and the best part is that it saves them with the effects you’ve applied.
For example, if you crop an element before creating a component, it’ll be saved exactly as cropped in your brand kit.
I can already see so many ways small businesses can use this to keep their designs consistent.
Can’t wait to dive deeper into Canva’s new features and explore the use cases for businesses after tomorrow’s event (Canva Create).
