The School of Health Sciences is under the Ministry of Higher Education and the school of Health Sciences is under the Ministry of Public Health.

MA-F-LE-KU-ME-N is a Community based NGO with two accredited Training Institutions namely Maflekumen Higher Institute of Health Sciences under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Maflekumen School of Health Sciences under the Ministry of Public Health. Our Professional Training Programs with the Ministry of Higher Education are three

(03) Years each and include : Higher National Diploma(HND) in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Health care management, Midwifery, Public Health. Pharmacy Technology, Nutrition Sciences , Medical Imaging/ X-RAY Technology. The Ministry of Public Health Programs include : State Registered Nursing and State Medical Laboratory Technology. The Entry qualification in any of the Specialized Program is GCE A Level in at least two Subject , Religious Knowledge exclusive. The Maflekumen Higher Institute also offers a one year Professional Bachelors Degree Program in Nursing and Medical Laboratory Sciences with entry Qualification into the Program being HND. Admission into the Higher Institute is based on Study of Qualification and Interview mostly in the months of July – September . The official commencement of Classes is usually first week of October. Admission into the Ministry of Public Health Program is by Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by the Ministry in the month of August.
