Bringing out the potential skills, talents and knowledge in children for their future integration.

This program is designed to offer solutions to community problems related to children’s education and welfare. Children’s Education and Welfare Empowerment Centre is a Child Friendly Safe Learning Center for Children and it's also a Trilingual Nursery and Primary School in Oku-Cameroon. CEWEC is offering daycare and education for children through improved and affordable strategies. CEWEC's curricu

lum focuses on reorienting education for sustainable development and encompasses a vision for a society that is not only ecologically sustainable but also one which is socially, economically, and politically sustainable as well.

Our mentor organization, SOPISDEW Cameroon, has been a strong pillar behind CEWEC since its inception in 2014. Through its legal establishment and the ongoing crisis, their support in mobilizing resources has kept us resilient and sustainable.

We appreciate the efforts of several individual donors who support our mission to promote the education and social empowerment of children. To ensure that children have access to quality education requires the provision of both didactic and hygiene materials.

We are excited to receive a gift of 30 water bottles and lunch boxes for the most vulnerable children, including several packets of pens and pencils for the children at Children's Education and Welfare Empowerment Center-CEWEC. This was through the generous donation from an illustrious daughter of the community Jai Anabel

Supporting children's good hygiene practices promotes access to quality education. Children who are unhealthy miss school hours and have limited attention. This greatly affects their performance in school.

We're glad to announce the provision of 100 hygiene kits for our children from Unite for Health Foundation through our mentor organization SOPISDEW Cameroon

We're very excited about this gesture and are appealing to persons of goodwill to join us to support more children through such gestures.

We keep connecting children and families in need of educational support to access quality education.

We're glad to announce the provision of scholarship fund worth 2000 USD by the Jones Family in the USA. This donation is meant to cover tuition costs for at least 62 children and to support teachers incentives.

This assistance was received by parents, children and teachers with a lot of joy. In their hearts, they promise to keep praying for the Jones family.

Ghangela Jones, who represents the Jones Family is a former US Peace Corps Volunteer and currently Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of SOPISDEW Cameroon

At CEWEC, we strive to connect children and families in need of educational support to access to different forms of assistance including scholarships.

We're glad to announce the provision of scholarships to cover tuition costs for 10 vulnerable children by Ghangela Jones Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of SOPISDEW Cameroon who is a former Peace Corps Volunteer with the organization.
