THE FUTURE SIMPLE

It's true most of us are so used to the appellation "verb tenses" when it comes to the different ways of using verbs. I'll however love to emphasise here that there are only two tenses in English ; "the simple present" and "simple past"
All the others are derived from those two.
Now the FUTURE SIMPLE is used to predict future events.

HOW IT IS FORMED ?

It is formed using the Modal auxiliary (will/shall) plus the infinitive without "to".

"WILL" is used to express "certainty".
"SHALL" is used to express "doubt" (we can best doubt ourselves than others) that is more reason we use SHALL only with 1st persons ( "I" and "We" )

For example, the he verb "to follow" in the simple future form👇🏽

👉🏽I shall/will follow 👉🏽We shall/ will follow
👉🏽You will follow 👉🏽You will follow
👉🏽S/he/it will follow 👉🏽They will follow
