Today, we welcomed our learners back to school as we begin another year of growth, discovery, excellence, and purpose.
As our learners step into this new academic journey, our Founder, Prof. Shawn Smith, prayed and pronounced a special blessing over them—committing their lives, learning, relationships, and journey throughout the year into God’s hands.

Our 2026/2027 Staff Induction, Orientation & Training Programme is well underway at GKCA & AIC!

Our teachers have been engaging in meaningful sessions on school culture, effective teaching, lesson planning, active learning, inclusion, AI in education, assessment, data-driven teaching, emotional intelligence, classroom management, and more.
But preparing teachers goes beyond academic and professional skills. The mental and emotional well-being of our teachers matters too.

A teacher who feels supported, valued, emotionally healthy and equipped is better positioned to create a positive classroom environment, connect meaningfully with learners, manage challenges and inspire learning. Teacher well-being directly influences the quality of teaching and, ultimately, the learning experience of our students.

That is why we choose to invest in our teachers before the academic year begins—not simply to prepare them to teach, but to prepare them to lead, care, inspire and make a lasting difference.
