A truly impactful business school prepares learners to go beyond conventional thinking. This was at the heart of our masterclass during this weekend’s FUNIC Business School Executive Weekend, where we examined the gap between MBA training/ certification in Cameroon and strategic influence.
Many important issues were analysed in a rich discussion led by Dr. Fotabe Elmine, with the valuable contribution of our senior faculty, Dr. Lovis Nnogge and Dr. Takor Ronald.

Fotabe University of Cameroon- FUNIC Cameroon lecturers are currently in the Netherlands taking part in an Erasmus+ programme funded by the European Union, through a partnership between FUNIC and the Netherlands Business Academy.

Erasmus+ is a European Union program that gives lecturers and students opportunities to travel to other countries to learn, train, teach, and gain international experience.

For the FUNIC lecturers, this means spending time at the Netherlands Business Academy, learning from their colleagues, sharing experiences, and bringing new knowledge and teaching methods back to Cameroon.

And it is not only for lecturers. In the 2026/2027 academic year, eight FUNIC Cameroon Master’s students will travel to the Netherlands for a whole semester, with the possibility of living and working there.
All their travel costs and living costs while in the Netherlands will be covered by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program.

FUNIC’s Master’s Degree Programmes are among the most international in the country.

For more than 10 years, FUNIC has been creating international learning opportunities for Cameroonian students. Its programs have taken students, staff, and lecturers to , , , and , in order to expose them to international academic and professional environments.

What is the Erasmus+ Programme?

1. Erasmus+ is a European Union program that supports education, training, youth, and sports.

2. It gives students the opportunity to study, train, and learn in another country.

3. It gives teachers and lecturers the opportunity to travel to another country to teach, train, and learn new ways of teaching.

4. It gives university staff the opportunity to visit partner universities and gain new knowledge and experience.

5. It helps universities and other schools work together with institutions in other countries.

6. It provides financial support to help cover travel, accommodation, and other costs for approved activities.

7. It gives students and teachers the chance to experience other cultures and meet people from different countries.

8. It helps schools and universities improve the quality of education through international cooperation.

This 2026/2027 academic year, 8 of FUNIC Business School’s Master’s Degree students will be traveling to the Netherlands to complete their programs at the Netherlands Business Academy.

FUNIC Takes Cameroonian Culture to Europe 🇨🇲

Fotabe University of Cameroon- FUNIC Cameroon lecturers created an unforgettable moment in the Netherlands.

The Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, Prof. Jan Van Zwieten, was dressed in our traditional Sawa Sanja and Jùmpa.

The diversity of Cameroonian culture was in full display, with our Founder, Dr. Fotabe Elmine, dressed in the colors of the Toghu, while other staff members, like Dr. Bennen Buma Gana(Bishop Bennen,) Dr. Takor Ronald, and Dr. Ilome Augustine, represented the Northern regions. Others also proudly wore Western cultural attire.

This is what our cultural diversity looks like.

When our students and lecturers travel abroad, we don’t only learn about the world; the world learns about us.

Cameroon was not just present in Breda. Cameroon was seen. Cameroon was honored. Cameroon was celebrated.

This is education with identity.
