There was a time when owning a mobile phone was a privilege.

A time when staying connected with loved ones or conducting business through a simple phone call was not accessible to everyone.

Then, a new chapter of connectivity began in Cameroon.

In February 2000, MTN Group entered the Cameroonian telecommunications landscape through the acquisition of CAMTEL Mobile, marking the beginning of a journey that would transform the way millions of Cameroonians communicate.
