Some people don't need a title to lead.
And then some have the title, but never make it about themselves.
When we began She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Action Bootcamp, our Communication and Media Team welcomed someone many had never met before. There were no grand introductions. No attempt to command attention. No effort to prove a point.
He simply got to work.
For three days, he blended into the team, carrying responsibilities with quiet excellence. While cameras flashed, sessions unfolded, and stories were told, he remained focused on one thing: ensuring the mission succeeded.
Most participants only discovered on the final day that the calm, humble gentleman working tirelessly behind the scenes was our Chief Operating Officer.
That moment said everything.
Leadership is not always the loudest voice in the room. Sometimes, it's the person who chooses service over spotlight, impact over recognition, and teamwork over applause.
Humility is a rare leadership quality. It inspires trust, builds stronger teams, and reminds us that the greatest leaders are often those who never need to announce their greatness.
To our COO, thank you for reminding us that true leadership is lived, not performed. Your quiet commitment left a lasting impression on every member of our team.
Now I'm curious...
Have you ever met someone whose humility made you respect them even more after discovering who they really were?
Share your experience in the comments and, if someone comes to mind, tag them. They deserve to know their quiet leadership is making a difference.

Have you ever attended an online session that made you forget the speaker wasn't even in the room?
That was exactly what happened during She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Bootcamp.
Mr. Rodrigue Jinyuy Birka, Founder & Managing Director of CornHouse, joined us virtually for SDG Deep Dive: People & Society (Part 1), exploring SDG 1 – No Poverty and SDG 2 – Zero Hunger.
He wasn't physically present in the hall...
Yet somehow, we felt every bit of his presence.
Every story carried purpose.
Every insight challenged assumptions.
Every example reminded us that ending poverty and hunger starts with courageous, innovative leaders who choose to act.
His session wasn't just about understanding two Sustainable Development Goals, it was about recognizing that sustainable solutions are built by people willing to think differently and serve intentionally.
The room was filled with questions, reflections, and moments that made participants rethink what impact truly looks like.
At She Leads, She Builds, we believe the strongest classrooms aren't defined by four walls. They're defined by conversations that spark action.
Thank you, Mr. Birka Rodrigue, for proving that distance is never a barrier to transformation.
💬 Now over to you:
Have you ever experienced a virtual session that felt as powerful as being there in person? What made it unforgettable?
Share your experience in the comments; we'd love to hear your story.

Well done Angyiba Serge
We are pleased to introduce the 2026 cohort of the Emerging Leaders Program, a group of 20 exceptional young Cameroonians who have demonstrated a strong commitment to their communities and an interest in contributing to Cameroon’s development.
Selected through a highly competitive national process, the cohort represents all ten regions of Cameroon, with equal gender parity, and brings together diverse experiences, perspectives, and ambitions.
From September 7-9, 2026, they will come together in Yaoundé for a three-day residential program structured around leadership development, public policy, and governance. Through sessions with experienced leaders and practitioners, peer exchange, and engagement on the questions shaping Cameroon’s future, they will sharpen their thinking, strengthen their leadership skills, and build relationships with peers from across the country.

There is a saying that people rarely remember every slide in a presentation, but they never forget how you made them feel.
At She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Bootcamp, while facilitators challenged minds and mentors inspired bold ideas, someone quietly ensured every participant felt seen, cared for, and supported.
From checking on participants, coordinating welfare logistics, offering reassurance during long days, and making sure no one was left behind, Ms. Doratine, our Welfare Officer, reminded us that leadership is also about service.
The strongest communities are not built by the loudest voices. They are built by people who choose compassion, consistency, and care—even when no one is watching.
To every successful event, individuals are working behind the scenes whose impact cannot be measured by the microphone they held, but by the lives they touched.
💚 Today, we celebrate Ms. Doratine for embodying servant leadership.
Now we'd love to hear from those who experienced it firsthand.
👇 Participants, what is one moment when Ms. Doratine made your bootcamp experience better? Share your story in the comments. Your words may be the recognition that inspires her to keep changing lives.
Because when we celebrate those who serve, we inspire more people to lead with empathy.

If there was one session that reminded us why the Sustainable Development Goals matter, it was this one.
Before we can transform communities, we must first understand the blueprint for transformation.
That is exactly what Ms. Dimalla Paola Aphrodite Olive delivered during her session on "Introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" at the She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Action Bootcamp.
She didn't simply explain the 17 Goals.
She connected them to our realities.
She challenged assumptions.
She transformed global ambitions into personal responsibility.
What could have been another presentation became an engaging conversation that left participants asking questions, connecting ideas, and most importantly, believing that they, too, can become drivers of sustainable change.
This is what impactful facilitation looks like—not just transferring knowledge, but inspiring action.
To Ms. Paola, thank you for laying such a powerful foundation for the journey ahead. Your passion, clarity, and ability to make complex global concepts feel practical and achievable set the tone for an incredible learning experience.
Now, over to our participants...
💬 What was your biggest takeaway from Ms. Paola's session?
What surprised you?
What inspired you?
What will you do differently because of what you learned?
Share your reflections in the comments and let's celebrate a facilitator who turned learning into inspiration.
👏 Thank you, Ms. Paola, for reminding us that every meaningful change begins with understanding the mission.

There are people who naturally stand in the spotlight.
Then there are those who quietly build the stage, steady the lights, solve the problems no one sees, encourage the team when energy is low, and make excellence look effortless.
Every impactful organization has one.
At Bisons' Scholars, that person is Ms. Meangafo Gracias.
As our Assistant Project Director for the She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Action Bootcamp, Gracias has been nothing short of exceptional.
She is dynamic in ex*****on, calm under pressure, and remarkably intentional in the way she supports both the team and every participant. While others may see the finished event, we've had the privilege of witnessing the countless hours of planning, coordination, encouragement, and quiet leadership that happen behind the scenes.
Some people manage projects.
She builds people.
She listens before she speaks. She leads without seeking applause. She encourages even when she has every reason to be exhausted. Her humility is matched only by her commitment to excellence.
Organizations don't thrive because of titles.
They thrive because of people like Gracias.
Today, we celebrate one of the rare gems whose impact cannot be measured only by reports, meetings, or deliverables—but by the confidence she instills, the hope she inspires, and the lives she quietly transforms.
To every participant of the She Leads, She Builds Bootcamp:
💚 What did Ms. Gracia Meangafo do or say that left a lasting impression on you?
Share your experience in the comments. Let's fill this space with stories that remind us why servant leadership still matters.
Because those who work tirelessly behind the scenes deserve to know that their impact is seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

Thirty seats.
Thirty young women.
Thirty minds filled with curiosity.
They arrived carrying notebooks, dreams, questions, and a desire to become more than they were the day before.
They came expecting a bootcamp.
They left with perspectives that will shape the way they lead, think, and build solutions for their communities.
At the She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Bootcamp, every seat represented a story waiting to be rewritten. Every participant represented a future leader choosing growth over comfort. Every session became an opportunity to replace uncertainty with knowledge, and ideas with action.
They didn't just sit and listen.
They questioned.
They challenged.
They collaborated.
They imagined.
And, most importantly, they grabbed knowledge with both hands, knowing that knowledge only becomes powerful when it is transformed into action.
Watching thirty determined women lean into every lesson, engage every facilitator, and embrace every challenge was a powerful reminder that the future of sustainable development is being built by people who are willing to learn today.
This was never about filling a room.
It was about igniting thirty minds that will, in turn, influence hundreds more.
The ripple effect has already begun.
💬 To our participants: What is the single most valuable lesson you are taking home from the bootcamp? Share it in the comments; you never know who your words might inspire to begin their own journey of learning and impact.
Because when determined women gather to learn, communities don't remain the same.
They evolve.

Some leaders stand at the front.
The best leaders walk beside you.
Throughout the She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Bootcamp, there was one constant presence quietly shaping every experience, calming every uncertainty, and ensuring that every participant and every facilitator remained focused on the mission.
That person was Noemie, our exceptional Lead Facilitator.
Long before the sessions began, she was already preparing the path.
While ideas were still taking shape, she was connecting the dots.
When challenges appeared, she responded with grace.
When energy dipped, she lifted the room.
When uncertainty surfaced, she became the steady voice reminding us why we started.
Guiding a bootcamp is far more than introducing speakers or keeping time. It is reading the room, anticipating needs before they arise, encouraging every participant to contribute, and creating an environment where learning feels safe, engaging, and transformative.
That is exactly what Noemie did.
She guided us every step of the way—not by seeking the spotlight, but by making sure everyone else had the confidence to shine within it.
Her leadership was intentional.
Her encouragement was genuine.
Her commitment was unwavering.
Because of her, our participants did not simply attend sessions; they experienced a journey of discovery, collaboration, and growth.
To Noemie, thank you for reminding us that facilitation is not about directing people. It is about empowering them to find their own voice, believe in their own ideas, and leave stronger than they arrived.
You didn't just lead a bootcamp.
You cultivated a community.
💬 To everyone who experienced the bootcamp: What is one moment when Noemie's guidance made a difference for you? Share your story in the comments. Let's celebrate a leader whose impact was measured not by how loudly she spoke, but by how confidently she helped others rise.
Because the strongest leaders don't create followers.
They create more leaders.

Sometimes, a photograph captures more than a moment… it captures a mindset.
As we look back at Day One of the She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Bootcamp, certain moments quietly spoke louder than words.
Among the many beautiful memories captured, some participant poses immediately caught our attention, not because they were simply pictures, but because they reflected the spirit of the women in the room.
The thoughtful gaze while listening.
The confident posture during discussions.
The smiles exchanged during moments of connection.
The focused expressions while absorbing new ideas.
Every pose told a story.
A story of curiosity.
A story of ambition.
A story of young women who came into the room ready to learn, challenge themselves, and imagine new possibilities.
Beyond the cameras and the beautiful frames was a deeper reality: these were women actively investing in their growth. Women choosing to sit at the table, engage with ideas, ask questions, and prepare themselves to create meaningful impact in their communities.
Day One was not just about opening a program.
It was about opening minds.
It was about creating an environment where confidence could grow, where conversations could flourish, and where every participant could begin to see herself not only as a beneficiary of knowledge but as a future leader capable of shaping solutions.
At She Leads, She Builds, we believe that leadership is often revealed in the smallest moments, the way someone listens, the way someone reflects, the way someone engages.
These captured moments from Day One are a reminder that transformation does not always announce itself loudly.
Sometimes, it appears in a simple pose, a curious expression, or a powerful moment of connection.
💬 To our participants and everyone following this journey: Which moment from Day One stood out to you the most? Share your thoughts in the comments; we would love to celebrate these memories together.

There are speakers who teach.
Then there are speakers who transform the room.
At She Leads, She Builds: Women SDG Bootcamp, Dr. Njonguo Belinda, affectionately crowned "Dr. Fine" by participants, did far more than deliver a session. She shifted mindsets.
From the moment she stepped forward, the room belonged to her, not because she demanded attention, but because excellence naturally commands it. With elegance in every word, intelligence in every insight, and confidence that inspired rather than intimidated, she demonstrated what authentic leadership looks like.
Her session, "Project Design Thinking: From Problem to Solution (Part 1): Human-Centered Design Principles," challenged participants to stop building solutions they think communities need and start designing with people, for people.
Every story carried purpose.
Every example sparked reflection.
Every principle pushed our future women leaders to think deeper, listen better, and design solutions that truly matter.
This wasn't just another lecture.
It was a masterclass in empathy, innovation, and leadership.
To Dr. Njonguo Belinda, thank you for reminding us that the best solutions begin by understanding people before solving their problems. Your presence, poise, and passion made an unforgettable impact.
💬 To everyone who attended:
What was the one statement, lesson, or moment from Dr. Fine's session that will stay with you long after the bootcamp?
Share it in the comments. Let's celebrate the wisdom that deserves to be heard beyond the walls of the training room.
