SMUI Welcomes MINESUP Delegation for a Successful Inspection Visit

Yesterday, the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Saint Monica University Institute, Buea, Mr. Bua Nyoh Bertrand, together with the dedicated team of staff, faculty and students, warmly welcomed a six-man delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education, Cameroon, for an official inspection visit.

The delegation was led by

Prof. MBARGA BINDZI MARIE ALAIN, DDES, Head of Delegation, and included
Madam EZA née ABATE JEANETTE, SD/ESUP;
Madam AKOMBI NATHALIA ENOW, SDA/ESUP;
Dr. NDENGUE JUSTINE, Medical Doctor and Expert;
Mr. MANDENG SOSTHENE, Civil Engineer and Expert; and
Madam NTOWA ANATHASIA, Senior Staff/ESUP.

The visit was carried out as part of the process toward the extension of authorisation for SMUI to run over 50 additional skills-based HND programmes, beginning from the 2026/2027 academic year.

It was a highly successful inspection visit, with the delegation leaving with glowing remarks about the quality of SMUI’s infrastructure, equipment and human resources. This milestone reflects SMUI’s continued commitment to excellence, professional training and the development of career-ready graduates in Cameroon and beyond.

Last week, on March 18th, 2026, Saint Monica University Institute (SMUI) was honored to witness a significant moment for our vibrant Nigerian student community! 🇳🇬🇨🇲

Our dedicated Nigerian students, accompanied by the SMUI Student Union Government (SUG), paid a special courtesy visit and extended a warm welcome to the *new Nigerian Consul General for the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon!*

This pivotal visit marks a crucial step in:
