THE BANKI-MOON GLOBAL CITIZEN SCHOLARSHIP FOR AFRICANS
The Global Citizen Scholarship Program empowers exceptional young people by facilitating their participation in international conferences as well as tailor-made, short-term academic trainings and supporting and mentoring them during the development of their own “SDG Micro-Project.”
The scholarship includes the chance to attend renowned international fora, interact and network with high-level change-makers, access specialized educational seminars and trainings, and gain insights from expert mentors and workshops provided by the Centre.

In 2021, the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens is granting 6 full scholarships to young African graduates and PhD candidates covering program costs and, if COVID-19 restrictions allow travel, accommodation, and a daily stipend for attendance at an in-person gathering.

Allard Prize for International Integrity (“Allard Prize”) Photography Competition, 2021
The Allard Prize Foundation is offering bi-annual Allard Prize Photography Competition that only open to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their country of residence at the time of entry.
The program accepts applications twice a year. Application deadlines are May 1st and November 1st.
Prizes
• Up to six photographs may be selected as a winner in each cycle of the Competition. Each winning Entrant will receive (i) CA$1,000, (ii) his/her winning photograph featured on the website, (iii) inclusion of his/her name and a brief description of the photograph on the Allard Prize website, and (iv) inclusion of the photograph in the website’s archive as a past winner.
• The winning Entrant(s) will be contacted by the Allard Prize with instructions on how to claim the prize.
• Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or substituted. UBC reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify a portion of the prize if it cannot be awarded for any reason.
• UBC shall not assume any liability for lost or misdirected prizes.

Call for applications for the Croatian scholarships for young Christians from developing countries
Deadline for application: 17 May 2021
The Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia (Ministry) and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA) are awarding the Croatian Government Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate university study to young Christians from developing countries
ELIGIBILITY
For the 2021/22 academic year, the scholarship is announced for the citizens of the developing countries from the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Potential candidates are invited to apply for the Scholarship by submitting their applications via the e-mail address: [email protected] .
The preliminary selection of applications will be performed by the end of May 2021.
Applicants should submit a write-up/letter of motivation with a minimum of 250 words concerning the first choice of study and append therewith the medical certificate of candidates. Applicants should also submit their Curriculum Vitae (in Europass format) and a scan of their high school or university diploma and report cards for the two previous academic years.
Applicants should attach a letter of recommendation from local parish or church community.
Applicants should submit their applications before 17 May 2021.
The results of the selection will be communicated in June 2021.

Call for applications for the Croatian scholarships for young Christians from developing countries Deadline for application: 17 May 2021
Fully Sponsored Masters Scholarship in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Application Requirements
KAUST requires a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The KAUST admissions code is 4107. Only official TOEFL or IELTS scores will be accepted. TOEFL or IELTS scores for tests administered by an educational institution for admission to that particular institution are not acceptable.
A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
KAUST does not require the GRE exam for admission. However, we strongly encourage students to take the GRE general test. A high quantitative score on the GRE will enhance a student's application. Official test results should be sent directly from ETS. The KAUST admissions code is 4139.
Submit an official, complete university Transcript/ Mark sheets/ Graduation Certificate/ Academic Record from every institution previously attended. A scan of the official transcript provided by the university in the native language must be uploaded into the online application along with the certified English translation. Your transcript must include the university grading scale for all documents submitted. If offered admission, an official final transcript must be sent to the Office of Admissions prior to arrival (during the onboarding process) in a sealed envelope to:

You must have three letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf. Letters of recommendation are important and should be written by professors or advisors under whom you have pursued research or taken courses in your major field of study. Recommendation letters should be submitted through the application directly from the recommender. Recommenders should provide details about how he/she knows your work, as well as comparative statements (e.g., top 1% of class, best in past five years, etc.), and insight into your research ability.
