On the second day of Nurses Week, the Royal Academy Students Association (RASA) organized a special Nursing Conference at the RAHIHS campus.
The event brought together students from the University of Buea Nursing Students' Association (UBNUSA), Government Bilingual High School Muea, Summerset Bilingual College Buea, and Salvation Comprehensive Bilingual High School Buea.

The conference celebrated the vital role of nurses in healthcare and acknowledged Florence Nightingale's significant impact on the profession. Nightingale's emphasis on hygiene, compassion and evidence based practices laid the foundation for modern nursing. As students engaged in discussions about the future of nursing, they recognized her lasting influence and committed to upholding her legacy of compassion and excellence in thier future careers.

As part of the vibrant activities during Day One of Nurses Week, Royal Academy Higher Institute of Health Sciences (RAHIHS) made a meaningful visit to Hope High School Idenau, engaging with students and inspiring the next generation. The event was filled with enthusiasm and learning, as RAHIHS representatives shared valuable insights about Health, the nursing profession, its significance, and the impact it has on communities. They also focused on how students can better their health through proper nutrition, good hygiene, exercise and mental wellness practices among others.
In addition to the discussions, RAHIHS generously donated supplies to the school, to further support the students' educational journey. It was a day of connection, learning and empowerment.

We didn't just show up; we made a difference by providing free Diabetes and Hypertension screenings alongside vital health talks for the community. One community, many lives touched. Massive CONGRATULATIONS to our former student, Nsame Themome, on successfully passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Nsame has extremely worked so hard over the last year under the guidance and support of the CEO of RAHIHS to accomplish this success. We are PROUD to say that Nsame is now a registered nurse in the State of New Mexico board of Nursing of the United States of America.

Nsame is an exceptional and extraordinary student who studied nursing in Cameroon and took the NCLEX all the way from Cameroon and passed on his first sitting. This a significant milestone in his career and we couldn't be prouder.

The NCLEX is a standardized test for aspiring nurses in the U.S and Canada, designed to assess the knowledge and skills necessary for safe nursing practice. Passing this exam is essential for obtaining a nursing license and allows graduates to provide quality care to patients.

The CEO and administration of RAHIHS is invested in the career life and well-being of their students.

The culmination of years of hard work is here. Tomorrow, Thursday, April 2nd, RAHIHS students will defend their research projects. We are proud of our students and wish them the very best as they present their findings.

New students at RAHIHS for the 2025-2026 academic were excited to recieve new tablets from the CEO. The tablets are part of a program to make learning easier.

The tablets come with various educational apps and resources, allowing students to access information quickly and complete assignments easily.

The CEO said, "We want to give our students the tools they need to succeed."

The students are excited to use the tablets and improve thier learning experience.
