This hadith is rarely discussed. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: verily Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty. (Muslim) He then explained: arrogance is the opposite of beauty, because arrogance rejects truth and belittles people. Beauty before Allah is truth, humility, and care. Understanding that beauty is part of His nature changes how we understand worship and how we present ourselves before Him. May Allah make us beautiful in the ways He loves.

Du'a is worship. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that. (Tirmidhi) Not a supplement to the real worship. The substance of it. Allah connected the promise of response directly to calling on Him. He also said: those who disdain My worship will enter Hell in humiliation. The word for worship in that warning is ibadah, the same as du'a. The one who does not call on Allah has not missed something extra. They have withheld something central.

It is from Allah’s immense mercy upon us that just by fasting one day, He expiates the (minor) sins of a whole year.
Along with fasting on the 10th of Muḥarram, we should try to fast either on the 9th or 11th.
May Allah make it easy and Practicable For Us

REKINDLING THE KEYNOTE ADDRESS
"When historians write the story of our generation 20 years from today, what will they say about us?"
This thought-provoking question set the tone for an inspiring keynote address delivered by Imãm Fonyuy Houssein Mohammad, Imãm of Masjid Al-Ummah, Nkozoa Lac, Yaoundé, during the CAMSU Buea Regional Conference 2026.
Speaking on the theme, "Empowering Muslim Youth to Lead Peace Through Faith, Education, and Action," the respected scholar, peace journalist, and Managing Director of HAP Media Initiative challenged participants to rethink their role in shaping society.
His presentation took participants through a transformative journey:
📌 Reality – Understanding the challenges facing today's youth, particularly the crisis of purpose that leaves many vulnerable to life's difficulties. Purpose gives direction, direction builds discipline, and discipline produces success.
📌 Reflection – Empowerment is not merely acquiring knowledge; it is developing both competence and character. Islam does not see youth as a problem—it sees youth as potential.
📌 Revelation – The Qur'an commands believers to actively promote peace, verify information before sharing it, and pursue knowledge as a foundation for transformation. In an era of misinformation and social media, these reminders are more relevant than ever.
📌 Responsibility – Every blessing is a trust: our youth, our knowledge, our influence, and even our online presence. The true measure of success is not fame, but being beneficial to others.
📌 Action – Faith, knowledge, and responsibility become meaningful only when translated into action. As the speaker emphasized, transformation begins when ordinary people stop waiting for extraordinary people and decide to act.
📌 Legacy – Every generation will be remembered for something. The question is: What will our generation be remembered for?
One statement that resonated deeply throughout the conference was:
«"Transformation begins when ordinary people stop waiting for extraordinary people."»
We extend our sincere appreciation to Imãm Fonyuy Hussein for this impactful, educative, and inspiring presentation that challenged us to transform faith into action, knowledge into solutions, and challenges into opportunities.
