I'm from newy, my mates work in the mines and so this one hits close to home. Why is it that we Aussie punters are always left on the hook? Whether you're the punter working in the mine here in Newcastle, working at the power station, or the taxpayer footing the bill, privatization of critical assets we punters paid to build always seems to end with corporations hiding behind their workers as human shields to protect their profits, and workers and taxpayers pay the price.
