Our Educational System Was Never for Our Freedom 😭😭😭
They gave Africa an education designed to produce obedience, not liberation.
An education that taught us how to serve empires, but never how to build our own.
They trained our minds to admire foreign power, distrust African greatness, and measure success by how useful we become to those who once chained us.
A slave master never invests in an education that will destroy his own control.
He studies your mind before he writes your curriculum.
He removes the history that awakens pride.
He silences the heroes who fought resistance.
He rewards imitation and punishes independent African thought.
And so generations were taught how to work for the world, while forgetting how to rebuild Africa.
Taught foreign geography while ignoring the blood and brilliance beneath African soil.
Taught to speak with confidence about Europe, yet whisper with shame about their own roots.
But a new African spirit is rising.
A generation that understands that true education is not memorizing the language of the oppressor, but awakening the consciousness of a people.
True education must teach Africans how to control their resources, protect their dignity, build their industries, defend their culture, and unite beyond colonial borders.
Africa does not lack intelligence.
Africa does not lack wealth.
Africa has been trapped in systems designed to keep her dependent.
The greatest revolution of this century will not begin with guns.
It will begin when Africans mentally break the chains they were taught to protect.
The day an African child learns to believe in Africa more than foreign validation, the empire of mental slavery begins to collapse.
Africa must not only rise economically.
Africa must rise psychologically, culturally, intellectually, and spiritually.
The battle was never only for the land.
It was always for the African mind.
