I am Ana Mate, a highly qualified Spanish teacher with more than 28 years of teaching foreigners how to speak Spanish. I have a great sense of humor, so I try to make classes fun. I remember what it feels like to learn a new language. I use that experience to support my students through their frustrations and also celebrate their successes. Lessons include vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation through reading based on your needs and level of fluency. The main focus of each lesson is conversation. I´m not just a teacher. I help my students with other language-related challenges like doing translations, making appointments and talking to Customer Service departments. I also support my students in assimilating to a new culture. My goal is for my students to feel comfortable communicating in their new language.
