Introducing our teachers
ELVIO RABIÉ
Elvio has a degree in linguistics and English literature from the University of Chile and more than 21 years of teaching experience in the fields of English Phonetics and Phonology, Contrasting Studies, History of the English Language and Dialectology, among others.
His passion is the study of phonetics and phonology and error analysis , line of research has led him to be a 4-time speaker at the LABCI (Latin American British Cultural Institutes) international congress held in Peru 2013, Uruguay 2015, Mexico 2017 and Chile 2019.
In his spare time, he enjoys eating out, spending time with his family, hiking, playing soccer, and watching movies.
Elvio es Licenciado en Lingüística y Literatura Inglesa de la Universidad de Chile y tiene más de 21 años de experiencia docente en los campos de Fonética y Fonología Inglesa, Estudios Contrastantivos, Historia de la Lengua Inglesa y Dialectología, entre otros.
Su pasión es el estudio de la fonética y fonología y el análisis del error, línea de investigación que lo ha llevado a ser 4 veces conferencista en el congreso internacional LABCI (Latin American British Cultural Institutes) realizado en Perú 2013, Uruguay 2015, México 2017 y Chile. 2019.
En su tiempo libre, le gusta salir a comer, pasar tiempo con su familia, hacer caminatas, jugar fútbol y ver películas.
