Muchisimas Gracias! El programa ha terminado y quedan los recuerdos hermosos del Sur de Chile, de la amabilidad de la gente de esa zona, de la belleza del paisaje, de los alumnos magnificos que dieron vida al proyecto y al aprendizaje. No solo fue un idioma, pero fue Chile y su cultura, sus costumbres, la comunidad Mapuche que nos abrió sus puertas. Estuvimos bajo la majestuosidad del Volcán Villarrica (siempre humeante), recordándonos que la naturaleza nos muestra quien manda. Comimos exquisito gracias a Monica, Fernando y familia. Es tanto lo que pasó.. No tenemos palabras para describir tanto cariño. Compartimos cabañas, experiencias, sentimientos y humanidad. Gracias a todos por haber participado!! Nunca lo olvidaremos.

Una manera simpática de ver donde estaremos en Noviembre.
Chile tiene 2.600 millas de largo. O sea, cruza los Estados Unidos a lo ancho.
Pucón (palabra del idioma "Mapudungun") significa "Entrada a la Cordillera"
y está ubicado aproximadamente a 1.700 millas desde el punto más al Norte de Chile. Vamos (casi) al fin del mundo.

Now that we have our group confirmed for Chile, we would like to recommend WhatsApp to those who aren't familiar with it yet. WhatsApp is is a free communication tool used by 1.5 billion people in 180 countries. We use it to communicate with our family from Chile. The App is better than Skype and is tied to your phone instead of a computer. It allows you to make voice calls, send text messages, recorded messages, photos and videos to any smartphone, worldwide, for free. We'll be able to set up a group messaging tool where we can get to know each other and post announcements and photos of our adventure. After loading the App, you can let us know your phone number to create our WhatsApp immersion group. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Some of you already know that in Chile we say that we speak "Castellano" instead of "Español". We also have some unique words and slangs like:
"Hablar puras leseras"
"Que fome!"
"Si po" or "No po"
"Guatita llena, corazón contento"

What a fun way to look at the region that will welcome us in November.
The map shows an interesting path to go from Chile to Argentina and back.
This specific tour is offered by a regional tourism company and could be done either before or after your Spanish Immersion Program.
