RAN – Revista Academia & Negocios (Escuela de Administración y Negocios, Universidad de Concepción, Chile) is inviting researchers to join our Editorial Committee.
RAN is a peer-reviewed academic journal indexed in SciELO and Scopus, with a growing focus on research relevant to developing economies, particularly within Spanish-speaking academic communities. Because of this international orientation, applicants must have strong proficiency in both English and Spanish.
Editorial Committee members will support the management of the peer-review process and typically handle 3–5 manuscripts per year. This is an ad honorem academic service role.
Main responsibilities include:
• Assessing submitted manuscripts for scope alignment and novelty
• Identifying and inviting appropriate reviewers
• Monitoring the peer-review process
• Providing a recommendation to the Editor in Chief on whether the manuscript should proceed in review or be rejected
Requirements:
• PhD degree
• Strong record of scientific publications
• High ethical standards (editors work with confidential academic material)
• Responsiveness in editorial communications
We are particularly interested in scholars with expertise in areas such as:
• Marketing and communication
• Technology adoption
• Bibliometrics and PRISMA methods
• Econometrics, PLS, SEM, and related quantitative techniques
• Qualitative research methods
• Financial and business education
• Innovation
• Governance and management systems
• ESG and sustainability
• Social responsibility
• Entrepreneurship
• Human resource management
