⚜️ ARTIST FOCUS ⚜️ - 🎨 ROMEO MIVEKANNIN 🎨
✍🏼 At the intersection of inherited tradition and the contemporary world, Roméo Mivekannin weaves his creations into an ancestral temporality, crafting his own rituals inspired by the Vodun cosmology of Benin. Blending painting, sculpture, and installation, his multidisciplinary work is both ambitious and boundary-defying. Mivekannin experiments with materials and challenges traditional artistic categories, creating a personal act of transgression that is both formal and symbolic. With power and subtlety, he unravels the threads of confinement, questioning our collective and personal legacies. His work embodies a strategy of resistance, combining emotional depth with critical insight to confront and transform inherited narratives.

⚜️ ARTIST FOCUS ⚜️ - 🎨 RODOLPHO PARIGI 🎨
Rodolpho Parigi is a leading figure among a new generation of Brazilian artists emerging in the 2000s. His work lies at the boundary between abstraction and figuration, blending diverse references—from Baroque corporeality, especially Rubens, to graphic design, scientific illustration, pop culture, and music. Rhythm and dance guide the dynamic gestures of his figures, more visible in the form’s energy than in brushstrokes. Parigi’s saturated, luminous colors evoke a retro-futuristic aesthetic. His paintings merge organic and mechanical elements, combining high-tech imagery with the precision of oil painting, resulting in an ornamental, unsettling visual experience.

⚜️ ARTIST FOCUS ⚜️ - 🎨 IGNOTO 🎨
✍🏼 Brazilian urban artist Ignoto presents a vibrant and evolving artistic universe through his signature character, Azulão. Created in 2008, Azulão emerged from a multitude of sketches and quickly captured public attention when painted in the streets. Over time, the character became a powerful symbol, representing diverse themes and emotional states. For Ignoto, Azulão is more than a figure — it is a reflection of identity, dedication, and creative resilience. Hailing from Jardim Romano in São Paulo’s far east, the artist sees Azulão as a subconscious extension of himself, living in another form, offering viewers a layered and deeply personal visual journey.
