For years, I thought being a strong leader meant being prepared, professional, composed, and having the right answer.
And I became very good at it.
But there is a difference between looking confident and actually trusting yourself.
I started noticing how often I filtered what I wanted to say.
Should I say this?
How will it be received?
Will I sound too direct?
Sometimes, by the time I had evaluated everything, the moment had passed.
What changed?
I started trusting my own judgment more.
I stopped analyzing every opinion before expressing it.
I became clearer about what I thought and what I was prepared to accept.
I said no when something didn't make sense.
I stopped feeling that I had to justify every decision.
And the more I trusted myself, the more confidently I showed up.
Confidence isn't about performing the role of a confident woman. It's about trusting yourself enough to lead from what you think, value, and believe.
