Over the last few days I’ve received some questions about French for Ski Instructors, so I’ve included the most frequently asked questions & their answers here for you.

Q: How do I know if this is right for me?

French for Ski Instructors is for qualified (or those aspiring to be) ski instructors. The course is designed to help prepare you for the Second Language Exam required by many ski instructor governing bodies, for example BASI, as well as for those wishing to teach French-speaking clients to ski.

Q: I'm a snowboarder, is this course still for me?

Yes and no. The Beginners level course is suitable for both ski and snowboard instructors, and starts on 31st July. The Elementary level starts on 16th October is only suitable for ski instructors. This is because a large part of the course includes ski teaching scenarios. An Elementary level for snowboard instructors is available on request.

Q: I'm not sure if I'm at the right level?

The Beginners level course is for those who have not studied French before or would like to start from scratch. Please get in touch if you are unsure and I can give you a personalised recommendation.

Q: How long will I have access to the course materials?

The course runs for six weeks, with a one week break in the middle, w/c 28th August. After the course you will have lifetime access to the cheat sheets, pdfs and quizzes.

Q: What timezone are the lessons in?

Classes start at 7pm CEST on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please note that w/c 7th August, the classes will take place on Monday and Friday instead.

Q: I’m not available at the times the course is running, what can I do?

Q: What’s the investment?

The course is 397 CHF per person. At the moment, 397 CHF is about 357 GBP, 412 Euros, or 458 USD.
