And just like that - it's over! We can't believe the ECVS 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting in Valencia is history already, but what a history it is! Close to 1'200 delegates from 42 countries world-wide flocked to the Palacio de Congresos in Valencia, and another 300 followed the congress online, making this the biggest ECVS congress to date. Valencia welcomed us with all the best it has to offer - radiant sunshine, balmy evenings, excellent food and warm Spanish hospitality. Add to that excellent scientific lectures, engaging speakers, the joy of meeting friends and colleagues, a bustling commercial exhibition and lively conversations and there's a perfect congress.

A lot of people contributed enormous efforts and dedication to make it all happen, from the scientific programme committee to the local organising committee, the sponsors and exhibitors, the speakers, service providers and volunteer helpers. Many thanks to everybody who contributed and everybody who joined for the occasion. We hope you left Valencia with loads of fresh ideas, great impressions, new inspiration and fantastic memories.

¡ECVS HABLA ESPAÑOL!

Do you speak Spanish? ECVS does! For the 33rd ECVS Annual Scientific Meeting (4-6 July) in Valencia, the ECVS Programme Committee and local Valencia committee have composed a special Spanish-language programme for Thursday morning, targeted at local veterinarians. A high-class line-up of Spanish-speaking Diplomates will deliver lectures on a variety of surgery-related topics, bringing internationally renowned specialists and ECVS expertise to the Spanish veterinary community.

ECVS habla Español will run on Thursday, 4 July 2024, 08:00 - 14:15 at the Valencia Congress Centre as well as online and is accessible to all interested veterinarians at highly attractive rates. Delegates who book both the ECVS main congress and Spanish-language half day congress can profit from an additional 10% discount on the registration fees.

Join us for this special occasion if you speak Spanish and spread the word to your Spanish-speaking friends and colleagues, also overseas as the sessions will be made accessible online for the benefit of delegates from Spanish-speaking countries world-wide.

El próximo jueves día 4 de Julio y a partir de las 08:00 de la mañana hasta las 14:15, tendrá lugar en el Palacio de Congresos de la capital Valenciana el mini-congreso ¡ECVS HABLA ESPAÑOL! con programas independientes en pequeños animales y equinos impartido por ponentes especialistas diplomados de talla internacional.

Las charlas serán íntegramente en castellano para acercar los últimos avances de la cirugía veterinaria a todos los veterinarios de España. Ese mismo jueves por la tarde dará comienzo el 33 Congreso Anual del Colegio Europeo de Cirugía Veterinaria al que también pueden inscribirse aquellos que lo deseen y con una tarifa reducida para miembros de AVEPA y AVEE.
