Hosted by the World Food System Center, this year's Summer School brought together participants to explore how communities can help create more sustainable and inclusive food systems.

Through field visits and collaborative workshops, they discovered inspiring local initiatives and developed ideas for positive change.

💡 What is the Food Systems Summer School?

The Food Systems Summer School is a two-week intensive program in Zurich that brings together students from ETH Zurich and other Swiss universities to explore the complexity of global and local food systems. Participants examine ecological, economic, social, political, and cultural dimensions of food systems while collaborating across disciplines to develop a deeper understanding of sustainability challenges and solutions.
