Never underestimate a baby's power to spot, point, and recognize colors, animals, and objects hiding in a picture book! Our baby group grows a little more every day, and it shows - especially during story time, when those busy little fingers go straight for the illustrations. 📖🐯

There's something so sweet about watching them lean in close, pointing and "talking" excitedly with teacher about everything they find on the page - tiger, trains, trees, you name it! And since these little ones are right in the middle of learning to talk, every babble and word they try out makes the moment even more special. A tiny moment, but a big step for their growing imagination (and their growing vocabulary!). 👶🏻💭

Our annual Graduation & SummerFest was never just about a party.
It was about watching children proudly show their parents the world they've built this year. It was about seeing families who once arrived as strangers chatting like old friends. It was about our teachers, who quietly make the magic happen every single day, finally taking a moment to celebrate alongside the children they've helped shape.

Days like these remind us that KiddieLand is more than a daycare. It's a community built on trust, friendships, countless little moments, and people who genuinely show up for one another.

To every family who celebrated with us, every child who made us laugh, and every team member who poured their heart into making this day unforgettable – thank you. You are what makes KiddieLand feel like home. 💛

Our Wiggles have done it – and what a celebration it was! 🎉💙

Our pre-k group have officially graduated and are more than ready for their next big adventure: Chindsgi. 🇨🇭✨

Over the past years, they've grown from little explorers into confident, curious, kind, and independent children. Along the way, they laughed, questioned, built, painted, climbed, negotiated (for more snacks, duh! 😌), learned in both English and German, and formed friendships they'll hopefully carry with them for years to come. 💛

A very special thank you goes to our incredible teachers, Kassie and Jill, who poured so much love, patience, creativity, and care into this wonderful group.

Whether our Wiggles continue their journey at KiddieLand or spread their wings elsewhere, they'll always be part of our family.

Go get'em, Wiggles. The world is ready for you. ✨

Watching these little ones step onto the stage, shine in their performance, and receive their graduation diplomas with the biggest smiles was one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we do what we do. 💛
Our Kindergarten graduates are officially ready to take on Swiss public school - and we couldn't be more proud of each and every one of them. They came to us as tiny curious minds, and they're leaving as confident, bilingual, and beautifully unique little humans.
To our Sparkles: you have filled our days with laughter, wonder, and so much joy. We will miss you more than words can say. The KiddieLand family will always be cheering for you. 🎉

Did you know that sensory play is one of the most powerful tools for early childhood development? 🌱

At KiddieLand, we intentionally design activities that engage all the senses - and over the past few days, our toddler class created sand mandalas using pasta and colourful beads. 🌈

Here's what was happening behind the scenes while they played:

🎨 Pattern recognition & maths - arranging objects symmetrically introduces early concepts of geometry, repetition and order.

👁️ Visual discrimination - sorting by colour, shape and size builds the foundation for reading and attention to detail.

🧠 Creative thinking - open-ended activities with no "right answer" encourage problem-solving and self-expression.

💛 Emotional regulation - the calming, repetitive nature of sensory play helps children focus, self-soothe and feel grounded.

This is what play-based learning looks like in action. A sandbox, a handful of beads, and a child's natural curiosity. ✨
