Over 34‘700 ETH Zurich graduates belong to the ETH Alumni Association, linking them to each other, their faculties and local chapters. Love can take you further than expected. 🇮🇩 🇨🇭

After studying at ETH Zurich, Corrado Nai moved to Jakarta for his wife – where family, science, and storytelling now shape his everyday life.

While raising his three-year-old daughter, he spends his time writing about science for international publications and working on a graphic novel about microbiology pioneer F***y Angelina Hesse – the woman who introduced agar to science, making modern microbiology and mushroom cultivation possible. 🧫🍄✍️

Run, alumni, run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

28 alumni from ETH Zürich gave it their all at last weekend’s SOLA relay race, proudly representing the ETH Alumni community and living up to their motto: “Running on Knowledge.”

Split into two teams, they started their 113 km journey around Zurich from Bucheggplatz on Saturday.

Together with 15,500 participants, they celebrated what ETH Alumni and SOLA are truly about: team spirit, community, and sharing an unforgettable experience. 🤝🚩

Home is where it matters most. 🇻🇳 🇨🇭

For ETH alumna Nhung, returning to Vietnam with her husband – also an ETH alumnus – meant being closer to family and starting a new chapter in the fast-changing city of Hanoi.

Today, she works as a lecturer at Vietnam National University, teaching courses and mentoring the next generation while carrying the mindset and experiences from ETH Zurich with her.🎓
