Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Department of Business at Stockholm University to ETH!🇸🇪🤝🇨🇭

During the visit, we explored some of the most important spots around ETH together with , President of , we had the opportunity to present both MSA and VSETH, and later continued the exchange in a more relaxed setting with drinks at BQM🍻

We would like to thank .se, everyone who helped organize the visit and accompanied the Swedish students during their time in Zurich, and of course the visiting student delegation for the great time we had together (and the little present!). It was a pleasure having you here. På återseende!🤗

This week, we wrapped up the semester with the MSA Board Dinner🌟

There were fun conversations, very ambitious ordering decisions, and a restaurant staff that got progressively more confused throughout the night, but still somehow decided that giving us free shots was a good idea… Imagine then what we’re capable of pulling off for the MTEC student community🤭

Jokes aside, it was really nice to celebrate everything that happened behind the scenes this semester! We’re really grateful for all the time, energy, and ideas that went into making student life at MTEC more connected and fun.

We’re already looking forward to next semester!👀

Remember the fun you had during the first semester??😁 We would love the next MTEC students to experience the same!🤗 That’s why we’re searching for 2–3 motivated people to take over and Sham’s amazing work and coordinate the MSA Buddy Program next semester!

As a coordinator, you’d be:
🎯 Recruiting buddy coaches
👥 Assigning new students to groups
🎉 Organizing ~5 events (MSA-guided ETH tour + apéro at the lake, friend speed dating, scavenger hunt, karaoke & fondue night 🫕)
🤝 Meeting your own buddy group throughout the semester

You will have full support from MSA & MTEC for logistics, communications & financing, so you won’t be doing it alone🫶🏼.

It’s a great opportunity to meet the new cohort, and help create a welcoming atmosphere from day one.

Would you like to learn how to prepare effectively for interviews at ? Then don’t miss this event!

Event Details: 
📅Date: Thursday, May 28, 2026
⏰Time: 4:00- 6:15pm, followed by an Apero until approximately 7:00pm
📍Location: BCG Zurich Office (Bleicherweg 62, 8002 Zurich)
 
You will learn directly from experienced BCG consultants how to approach case interviews, break down complex problems, and think in a clear, structured way. You will work through a real example, gaining practical experience with the steps needed to tackle typical consulting challenges.

A dedicated feedback round will allow you to reflect on your approach and receive valuable input to further sharpen your skills. The session will conclude with an open Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and deepen your understanding of both the interview process and a career at BCG.

🍸The evening will conclude with a relaxed networking session, offering the opportunity to connect and exchange with BCGers and fellow participants in an informal setting.

👩‍🎓If you are a student from a STEM or non-business background (Bachelor, Master, PhD) in your 3rd semester or beyond and curious about applying to BCG, this workshop is a great opportunity to build relevant skills, gain confidence for interviews, and connect with different BCGers.

It was so nice to see so many MTEC students taking part and representing our community across the different race categories yesterday at the Zürich Marathon 2026! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A special mention to our top D-MTEC finishers in each category:

After the race, our students got together and celebrated the day with a well-deserved BBQ on the rooftop of WEV.
