We help finding dream jobs since 1989

Telejob is a non-profit organization of ETH Zurich, which aims to reach and connect students and employers - companies as well as universities - in Switzerland.

Mainly run by student volunteers from ETH Zurich, Telejob is part of AVETH that supports students and academic staff of ETH in finding their dream jobs. We proudly operate ETH Get Hired, the online job platform of ETH Zurich with the ETH Career Center. Over 34,000 advertisers have promoted their job openings on our job platform since its launch in 2010. In 2019, ETH Get Hired has over 20,000 page view each month.

In addition, Telejob keeps exploring opportunities to connect students and employers. We’ve successfully launched the first ETH-wide hackathon, namely PolyHACK, in 2017. The two-day event is now held annually at ETH Zurich with new theme and challenges each year. At PolyHACK, participants have the opportunities to make new friends, discuss ideas, exchange contacts, knowledge and skills with professionals from the industry.

In April 2019, Telejob launched Poly-e-fair: the first virtual career fair at ETH Zurich. Everyone within the ETH Domain can register to join the event for free. During the two-day live event, participants can interact with actual people behind the virtual booths and the various networking lounges co-run by our partner companies. Participants can also connect with other professionals and guest speakers through online chat and job-related seminars. Materials including videos and documents during the live event are made available to all registered users, where they can continue to explore job skills and opportunities for their career.
