The Wyss Zurich project denovoSkin and the associate project MUS.I.C. were part of the Universität Zürich's panel during the 3rd Credit Suisse Entrepreneurs' Congress.
Fabienne Hartmann-Fritsch, and Deana Mohr-Haralampieva Mohr reported together with Michael Schaepman and Greta Patzke on the qualities needed to tackle and implement a groundbreaking idea. Mainly the ability to recognize chances and the courage to take them, perseverance, and team spirit.
Or, sometimes it needs a person telling you: "Go get it!"
As Daniela Marino told Deana Mohr and motivated her to proceed.
With Michael Schaepman, President of the University of Zurich, Greta Patzke, Professor for Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Zurich, Fabienne Hartmann-Fritsch (CCO at Cutiss AG, Co-Project Leader of denovoSkin), Deana Mohr-Haralampieva (Project Leader of MUS.I.C and CEO at MUVON Therapeutics AG)
Thank you, Michael Schaepman, for fostering these outstanding projects.
What is the magic cube?
With the new teaching tool "Magic Cube", young students get to know the basics of electrical engineering in a playful way. The goal is to help young people build confidence in their technical skills, thereby awakening their enthusiasm for technical tinkering and problem-solving.
The new tool will be available for schools and extracurricular activities starting in February 2021.
📣It will be presented for the first time at the Swiss Digital Days via live stream: 1 Nov, 5.40-6.00 p.m.

This is the team of OxyPrem, one of our projects. The name already indicates their connection to oxygen.
Too little oxygen in the brain can lead to death or life-long disabilities. Thus, the medical device *Oxyprem* is specially designed for the most fragile of all patient groups: preterm children.
These people are working on this high-quality monitoring equipment for oxygen levels in human tissue.

We would like to present you some impressions of the past events organized and coordinated by our outreach project mint & pepper
📸
Together with CYBATHLON, and with the support of ETH Zurich students and mint & pepper coaches, mint & pepper held in the past few weeks various camps and workshops. At the Cybathlon @ school autumn camp, children and youngsters were able to design and program their own gripper system to be fitted on an exoskeleton. During these activities, participants learned to use robotics and modern technologies that help people with physical disabilities overcome everyday obstacles. For more information about their current activities visit their website https://www.mintpepper.ch/

Four team members of the Wyss Zurich project Voliro have been interviewed by Tomorrow Unlocked. They are part of the first episode of 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀. The short film captures very nicely what Voliro can do and that drones can take over dangerous service tasks, and even create street art.
