Two mindful hikers

Discover 🇨🇭 winter wonderland with us 💙👉

This was one of our very first hike with our snow shoes 2023 and it was absolutely amazing!

We have been hiking in that region already a lot in summer, but it is a completely different experience in winter 🤩

We started in Sulwald-Isenfluh where a small cablecar will go steeply up to the starting point of many breathtaking hiking routes 🚠

The first part we hiked in normal hiking boots until the snow was too deep and we decided to put on our snow shoes to go on.

We went up to Sousegg where you find a little hut and a perfect view onto the famous mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau 🏔🏔🏔

In summer we continued the route and went to the Lobhörner and Schwalmere, which is a total of 1350 HM  and with the way back a 10 hour hike 🥵

Of you end your route at Sousegg its only a hike of 4hours and 650 HM which allowes you to go slow and enjoy the views even longer 😍

The magic of the north 💚💜

Have you ever had the luck to see this magical phenomen of the aurora lights❓️

Especially in winter you have a good chance of seing them and with a good camera it's even possible to catch them in their whole beauty 🥰

This pictures were taken in Norway this year at a beautiful overnight stay by this lake, which was an amazing unique experience!

December dump ❄️💙

The last 4 days have been all about snow and more snow and walking through tons of snow ❄️

We had a lot of fun around in the snow, throughing snow balls, building our first little snowman and just enjoying the snowy landscapes 🧊💙

December is only 4 days old but we already discovered so many winter gems 💎 We didn't even go far away from our home to enjoy winter, we had all the magic around our place ☃️

4 weeks left of 2023 and we are already full excited what 2024 will bring for us 🤩

📍 Valle Verzasca

A cold and snowy day in Valle Verzasca in the italian part of Switzerland 💙

Have you ever been to that part of Switzerland before❓️

It's famous for warmer weather, a lot of sunshine ☀️ and beautiful landscapes🏞 (and of course good italian food 🍝)

A lot of people love to explore the canton of Ticino for holidays or long weekends 🏖 So it can be very crowded in high season, but we love to go there off season and enjoy the beautiful hikes 🥾

'If you only see rocks, keep climbing, the view will be worth it!'

That's exactly how we felt while hiking up the Schrattenfluh over all these sharp rock formations!

The region of Schrattenfluh is all out of karst rock which builds long furrows, cracks and deep holes, what lead the ancient folks to create various stories and mystical tales.
The most popular story, the Schrattenfluh Saga sais that the devil itself tore open the meadows with his claws and left this rugged stone desert behind 👹

Do you also love to discover the history behind the places you hike or travel to? 🏛

For us it makes this place even more magical with the story behind 😁

You can make different hikes on the Schrattenfluh, for example to the top of Schibengütsch (2037m.a.s.l.) or Hängst (2092m.a.s.l) 🏔

Take good shoes with you and take care of your hands because the rocks can be really sharp and the wholes are deep, so don't stumble or fall! 🥾

Where does your path lead you?

Goalsetting is one of the most important tasks in the beginning of your journey or in the planning of your trip, but most people are living their life without even having a goal set!

Here are a few tips for finding your goal:

- Dreamlife = Goal: Think about your dreamlife or your perfect day. How does it look like? What are you doing? Who is with you? Where are you? Imagine it will all your senses and then write down the essential parts of your dreamlife which actually is your goal :)

- Starting Point: Think now on your actual situation. Where are you now? How far away from your dream life are you? What does need to change? Note the key points of your starting point.

- Break down into steps: Figure out which actions are needed to bring you closer to your goals step by step. What does need to change within this year/month/week? What can you do in the next steps to reach this goals?

🇨🇭 Swiss lakes with their beautiful colours 💚💙

As a swiss nature lover you know a lot of lakes, because we unfortunately don't have an ocean 🌊

But when you look at these lakes, don't you think the mountain views and colours are incredible❓️

This weekend we started again with one of our favourite summer activities besides hiking: Stand up paddling 🛶

As with everything the first time of the year is feeling more insecure and unknown again but after a few hours we are back into it 😎

Sore muscles, sunburned skin and a big smile in our faces 😜 That's how days have to end 🤩
