An inspiring day at comes to an end!
We at the ETH AI Center were proud to co-host a packed and high-energy AI Stage. From early morning until late afternoon, we heard from brilliant voices shaping the future of artificial intelligence in Switzerland, Europe, and beyond.
It all started with a major announcement on the main stage: the launch of the first strategic partnership between the Swiss National AI Institute (SNAI) and Swisscom.
From there, our AI Stage took off:
– The Swiss National AI Institute (SNAI)
Scarlet Schwiderski-Grosche (EPFL AI Center) gave insight into the mission of SNAI and its role in research, industry, and startup innovation.
– How to get a VC to invest in your company?
Antonia Albert (Founderful) shared investor perspectives and practical advice for founders navigating early-stage fundraising.
– AI Research vs. Fundraising
Milan Kuzmanovic, PhD (nextesy) spoke about the balancing act of scientific innovation and building a business.
– Funding AI Solutions for Sustainability
Panagiotis Martakis (irmos technologies AG) and Urs Stender (Bluelion) discussed the opportunities and challenges in applying AI to sustainability ventures.
– Aligning AI Governance with AI Operations
Yannick Merkli (LatticeFlow AI) addressed how companies can make AI development and deployment more trustworthy and accountable.
