We are pleased to welcome Lionel Pointet as new lecturer natural horn / baroque horn at ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste from the autumn semester 2023 🌟 The young horn player completed his Master's degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève at the age of 22. Since then he has continued his education at the ZHdK (orchestra conducting, music pedagogy) and in master classes.
While still studying for his Master's degree, he won the position of second horn at the Philharmonia Zürich, which he still holds today.
Lionel Pointet has a wide range of performance experience, especially in historical performance practice. He is a sought-after soloist with orchestras and festivals, a sought-after chamber music partner and is involved as a coach and expert in competitions and auditions.
