Collège du Léman is an international day and boarding school in Geneva, Switzerland. For boys and girls, 2 to 18 years old.

We help students to find their place in the world by inspiring individual growth, academic excellence and global citizenship. Welcome to the official Collège du Léman page. This page acts as a resource and discussion platform for our educational community. While we welcome discussion, we are responsible for providing a positive atmosphere to our students, parents, faculty and staff. Our boarders took learning beyond the classroom ⛰️

Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery our boarding students explored walking on trails, climbing, sports, gathered around a campfire and learning practical skills for living and surviving in nature.

Experiences like these give our students the opportunity to develop confidence, independence and resourcefulness, while sharing moments that bring them closer together. Away from their usual routines, they learn from one another, take on new challenges and strengthen the friendships that make boarding life feel like a community.

And this is just one of the many adventures that make boarding life at CDL an opportunity to grow, explore and create lasting memories together. 💙

Last week was RESPECT Week at CDL, putting one of our RISE values at the centre of school life.

Across the school, students talked about what respect looks like in everyday life: how we speak to each other, how we deal with disagreements, and how we look out for the people around us.

We don’t just expect students to know what respect looks like. We help them learn it.

We asked some of our Primary students what respect means to them. 💙

On World Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating all the people across CDL who make a difference in our students’ lives.

The teachers who encourage and challenge them. The staff who notice when they need support, make time to listen and celebrate their successes. And our house parents and boarding teams, who are there long after the school day ends.

Today, our students had the chance to put some of that appreciation into words.

What makes our Welcome Back BBQ so special? Having the whole CDL community together again. 💛

Old friends caught up, new families made connections, familiar faces returned, and new ones found their place. With good food, music and performances from our talented students, the evening was full of the energy and connections that make CDL what it is.

A great trip to Saas Fee for our Level 6 students! 🏔️

From walking on a glacier and spotting marmots to trying the mountain cure of “Chilly Feet”, there was plenty to see, do and enjoy along the way.

But the trip was about more than just the activities. It was a chance for students to spend time together outside the classroom, enjoy new experiences, strengthen friendships and simply have fun together. These are the moments that bring a year group closer and create memories they’ll remember for a long time.

And with glaciers on the curriculum later this year, their time in Saas Fee will make what they learn in the classroom even more meaningful!

A new space for our students. 💙

We’ve officially opened our newly renovated Student Support Centre!

Whether it’s a quiet place to study, connect with a counsellor or receive extra support when needed, we wanted to create a space where students feel at ease and supported.

Bridget Curran, our Head of Student Support Services, and her team are looking forward to welcoming our students and helping them feel right at home.

With all diploma results now official, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate the academic achievements of the Class of 2026. 🎓✨

Behind every result are years of dedication, hard work, perseverance and countless hours of learning. From the IB Diploma Programme and Baccalauréat français to the High School Diploma, IGCSEs and Maturité Suisse, the students have shown what they can achieve when commitment meets ambition.

These achievements are about more than results. They are a reflection of the determination, resilience and confidence the students have built along the way — and of the community that has supported them every step of the journey.

We are deeply grateful to the teachers for their dedication and guidance, to the university advisers for supporting students as they take their next steps, and to parents and families for their unwavering support. We also celebrate the students themselves, who have supported, encouraged and inspired one another throughout their journey. Thank you to the entire CDL community for being part of this special year.
