We want to meet the students’ demands for a modern and high-quality higher education through excellence in studies, supervision, and development. Our goal is to offer our students high-quality study programmes. SIIL’s own quality standards demand that its degrees open up excellent opportunities for its students in the job market, which testify to their great professional competence and high level of motivation. Our teaching staff are highly qualified invited lecturers from different countries. This approach guarantees the quality of the course and the unity of teaching and learning, and enables SIIL’s students to complete their studies under the guidance of qualified professors. SIIL makes a unique contribution to equal opportunities in the higher education sector across Switzerland, EU and all other countries, and society as a whole. On our own SIIL e-learning platform we use the methods of modern network-supported distance learning which combines self-study, subject-specific group webinars and constant online support of personal academic assistants. At SIIL, we strive for continual improvement of our degree and further education programmes, enhancement of teaching languages and our e-learning platform, as well as the serious improvement of the quality assurance procedures, which has been confirmed by the Swiss national eduQua standards and the international QS Stars certificate in the Online Learning category.

🎭What stands behind a fashion show, concert, or major conference?

Dozens of specialists, hundreds of processes, occasional chaos, and many decisions that remain unseen by event guests.

This is exactly what an Event Manager does - coordinating processes, bringing teams together, and making sure everything works as one system.

Recently, Elizaveta Kukosyan, a 5th-semester student of the SIIL Event Management programme, had the opportunity to observe the organization of Thailand Fashion Week AW26/27 from the inside as part of her practical training.

SIIL Accredited Media at Thailand Fashion Week AW26/27

Thailand Fashion Week AW26/27 is one of the largest fashion events in the region, recognized by the 10Times platform as the No.1 Fashion Week in Thailand. It will take place on May 26–27 in Bangkok.

The Autumn–Winter 2026 season will bring together renowned and emerging designers, international media, representatives of the fashion industry, buyers, and leaders of the creative community. The event will showcase collections across Couture, Homme, Femme, Avant-Garde, Accessories, Footwear, and Jewellery.

As part of its official accreditation, the institute has been granted access to runway shows, backstage areas, the media lounge, and interview spaces at the event.

SIIL Communications representative Maksim Miezis and 5th semester student (Event Management Programme) Elizaveta Kukosyan will be working on materials from the venue. For Elizaveta, participation in this international event will form part of her practical professional experience.

This partnership reflects the development of the institute’s international communications and its practice-oriented approach to education in the fields of Event Management and Brand Management.
