Announcement – A new chapter for Leman Language Services and Expat Woof
Like many small businesses, we’ve navigated some twists and turns over the past few years. As you might know, our company has two focuses:
Leman Language Services (LLS), for language learning and communications, and Expat Woof, dedicated to dog boarding and dogcations.
LLS successfully adapted during the covid years by moving online, and our communications work went from strength to strength, including collaborations with several high-profile Swiss clients. We’ve been incredibly proud of our team of talented tutors and creative copywriters, who bring warmth, clarity, and genuine human connection to everything they do.
However, with the rapid rise of AI translation tools, copywriting platforms, and language-learning apps, demand for LLS’s services has gradually declined. After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult but mindful decision to close this chapter.
So what does this mean for LLS and Expat Woof?
As of 05 March, the company Leman Language Services will officially close.
Expat Woof, as a service, continues to grow and thrive – and it’s very much here to stay. All existing bookings will go ahead as planned, and all pre-booked session packs remain valid.
As we restructure and fully separate Expat Woof from LLS, we’ll be taking a behind-the-scenes pause, and Expat Woof plans to reopen for new bookings by fall 2026. We will keep you updated!
