Congratulations to the CERN football club team for their victory in the Geneva Corporations football league (AGFC). This competitive league has brought together teams from major companies in the Geneva area with a spirit of competition and respect since 1925. CERN has a long history of competing in the league, but this is their first championship in more than a decade. In their path to the championship, the CERN team defeated teams from Rolex, Migros, and Proter and Gamble. The CERN team reflects the diversity and spirit of CERN, bringing together 23 men and women of diverse ages, nationalities and roles at CERN. This group showed that not only can they perform at a high level professionally in their work at CERN, they are top sportsmen and competitors. Congratulations to the whole team!

Aquaparc s'engage auprès de Solidarité Jouets!

La collecte de jouets initialement prévue au Bouveret prend une nouvelle forme suite à la fermeture du parc.

Aquaparc vous propose sur son site internet une sélection de peluches dont celle de l'incontournable mascotte Sharky.

Pour chaque peluche achetée, nous offrirons du matériel de dessin à Solidarité Jouets afin qu'il soit redistribué aux enfants à Noël. (Le matériel de dessin étant difficile à trouver de seconde main et en bon état.)

The Staff Association informs you that a presentation of the book "La dernière danse des étoiles”, " will take place on Thursday 19 November at 4:00 p.m.

The idea for this children's book was born on a beach in Nice in September 2017, two years after the first detection of gravitational waves. This discovery shook the scientific world, being the ultimate confirmation of Albert Einstein's theory but also because it marked the beginning of a new era in astrophysics. The detection of gravitational waves was awarded the 2017 Nobel Prize in Physics...

October Holiday Football Camps for Boys-Girls of all abilities starting soon in English/French. It is possible to join for 1-5 days and also early drop off is offered from 0830 to help working parents. Camps take place at the following;

• Geneva Vessy (nr Champel) & Geneva Varembe (Nations) – week 19 October
• Nyon – week 19 October
• Etoy-Morges – week 19 October
• Lausanne – week 12 & 19 October

It is also still possible for employees children to join After School & Weekend Courses in Geneva, Versoix and Mies, Lausanne.
