One last applause.
Not for an ending, but for everything that came before it.
Over ten days, twenty composers and ten conductors came together from around the world to imagine, question, experiment, learn and create.
The final concerts were only the visible part of something much larger: days filled with rehearsals, conversations, discoveries, challenges, friendships and shared passion.
Music was written.
Music was performed.
But above all, a community was built.
To our twenty composers and ten conductors: thank you for your generosity, courage, curiosity and trust.
To our faculty — Chaya Czernowin, Oscar Bianchi, Michael Jarrell and Oscar Jockel — thank you for sharing your experience, wisdom and artistic vision.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the extraordinary musicians of Ensemble intercontemporain, and to Helena Sorokina, whose artistry, commitment and generosity brought these world premieres to life.
Thank you also to our audiences, partners, volunteers and everyone who believed in this journey.
The applause eventually fades.
The music, the friendships and the ideas continue.
