What’s the best time to visit Switzerland? 🇨🇭

☀️ JULY – SEPTEMBER | Summer Hiking

If your dream Switzerland includes high Alpine trails, turquoise mountain lakes, wildflowers, dramatic peaks, and long days outdoors, summer is the time to go. 🏔️🥾

July through September is generally the best window for high-altitude hiking, when many mountain passes and trails are accessible, and the Alpine landscape is at its most vibrant.

It’s also the season when most of our guided hiking tours run, including our spectacular Haute Route, one of the classic long-distance hikes through the Swiss Alps.

🌿 July: Lush landscapes, wildflowers, and longer daylight hours.
☀️ August: Ideal for high-Alpine adventures and enjoying the mountains at their liveliest.
