Andres Alarcon, age 23, son of Mr. Paul Dyer, Director of Admissions, has passed away in his room due to an ongoing medical condition. He graduated from LAS in 2006 and was a member of the Summer School staff.
He was truly appreciated for his enthusiasm, positive outlook, and love of life. He loved LAS and considered Leysin his home. Andres will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The LAS community stands by Paul, Elizabeth and Mariela Dyer during these difficult times.
