In a collaborative effort to promote and respect , IAPD in cooperation with the School of Business & Management - SSBM's and their partners; Maat for Peace Development and Human Rights & Indépendante des Droits de l'Homme en Afrique du Nord (CIDH), will organize a two-day workshop consisting of five roundtables on business and human rights, on the 2nd & 3rd of July, 2026, in SSBM, .

This will be In commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and on the sidelines of the 62nd session of the Human Rights Council, which is discussing the reports of the Working Group on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises & the report of the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights about aligning corporate practice with the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Empowering the Next Generation of Human Rights Defenders

The International Alliance for Peace and Development (IAPD) recently hosted an impactful roundtable discussion titled "Protection Systems: Navigating National, Regional, and International Mechanisms." Bringing together a dynamic group of young leaders and renowned human rights experts, the session provided a deep dive into the legal frameworks and institutional tools designed to safeguard human rights across all levels.

That is coming from IAPD strategic goal to bridge the gap between expert knowledge and youth activism, to empower the next generation.
