IEEE WESYP Congress

IEEE West European Student and Young Professional Congress 2023 hosted in Lausanne, Suisse.

Every two years, one IEEE student branch in Region 8 (Europe, Africa, Middle-East) organizes the famous Student Branch Congress. Since a couple of years, these conferences focus also on Young Professionals. So the name was changed to Student and Young Professional (SYP) Congress. As the regional SYP Congress is organized bi-annually, smaller editions can be organized in the year in between. An example is the West European Student and Young Professional (WESYP) Congress. This second occurence of the WESYP Congress will be hosted by the University of Valencia Student Branch on the 16th, 17th and 18th of November 2017. We are preparing a program that gives participants the opportunity to meet other IEEE members, exchange ideas and experiences and take part in workshop and lectures to develop their skills. At the same time, we will introduce the participants to our university (University of Valencia) and the beautiful & sunny city of Valencia.
