Today we announced DaVinci Resolve 20.3.1, which adds the ability to search for effects in Chinese, Japanese and Korean using input methods on Windows and Linux. That means you can quickly search and apply effects using your preferred language and keyboard layout.

This update also includes improvements to Fusion viewer overlays for transforms, ensuring that after you’ve moved, zoomed or rotated a shape, overlays will now correctly align with the displayed image. Plus, multimerge nodes with masks are now rendered correctly when multiple transforms are applied to the mask and to individual layers, giving you consistent compositing results.

When working in stereoscopic 3D video in DaVinci Resolve Studio, the monitoring output will now more reliably display both left and right eye streams so monitoring is accurate when viewing stereo 3D clips. There is also improved embedding of HDR10 metadata, allowing you to export HDR10 clips with accurate metadata when output colorspace and gamma are set correctly.
