Curaden Academy elevates oral health education to help build a healthier and happier society. This is our system, this is our principle, this is our philosophy!

Our foundation is the Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis Programme (iTOP), which helps dental professionals educate patients on effective biofilm management. iTOP - individually trained oral prophylaxis makes successful life-long oral hygiene possible! Properly and successfully mediating the care of one’s own teeth is a challenge in our society. Neither parents, the self-taught nor advanced state prophylactic education have achieved this completely. Individual training with periodical examination and correction carried out by trained dental professionals make long-term success possible for everyone and anyone. iTOP uses new technologies to instruct and motivate patients, develops their own easy-to-use tools and trains oral hygiene professionals. It is our aim to let everyone benefit from our experience and our knowledge. Perfect oral hygiene must be acceptable, effective and non-traumatic. There isn’t anything that cannot be made better! iTOP is based on three fundamental principles: compliance, efficiency and trauma-free.

Dental students from the University of Georgia recently participated in an engaging iTOP session led by Dr. Ana Tavartkiladze, certified iTOP Lecturer.

🦷 The session focused on advanced biofilm management and practical strategies to help patients develop and maintain long-term positive habits in their daily oral care routines.

🗝️ The key takeaway? Students learned that achieving excellent oral hygiene doesn’t require complex tools — just the right ones, used correctly. They also discovered that true mastery comes from hands-on practice, not just observation.
